Ive only been here once and it was a good experience but I can definitely understand that its not for everyone. Its a very small place with limited seating and no where to stand while waiting for a seat which can make things very crowded on the weekends. Very heavy poker theme as well but I like playing cards so I enjoyed it. I dont understand why some complain about the free toast but I really liked it. Someone complained they like warm toast with their meal... then ask for some more when you get your meal... DONT LET IT JUST SIT THERE... ITS FREE AND ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! Shouldnt be too hard to comprehend. Anyways the food was slightly above average but nothing that great but I dont like much breakfast food besides pancakes. Tried their biscuits and gravy which I was told was excellent and I like my own gravy better. The one thing I didnt like is how expensive it was. Normally, a breakfast place that charges a lot makes up for it with extremely large portions. This place gets the portions right (even though they make things a la carte) as far as how much a person can reasonably eat but still charges the high prices. It cost my wife and I $25 with tip to eat. Thats just too much IMO for breakfast. Overall, Id recommend checking it out once but not a place to go to frequently. Side note: I can see why some dont like the owner. He is an old stubborn guy.

First and last visit! “Unlimited” toast offer brought immediately to the table with menus is gimmicky. I like my toast served warm, with my meal and I’d like a choice of breads. Toast shouldn’t be treated like chips & salsa, it’s not the same thing! Didn’t appreciate the deliberate omission of the traditional two egg breakfast, you either get one or three. I had to order the three egg breakfast and request only two eggs. Predictably, there was no adjustment to the $7.25 price tag. Very skinny strips of bacon lacked flavor, was cooked well in advance and served room temperature. My husband’s omelet was the worst he’d ever had. The sausage lacked flavor and was stuffed with an overwhelming amount of mushrooms that weren’t even fresh but were of the canned variety. We didn’t like their so-called signature potatoes. Was more like a mound of mashed potatoes with chunks of onion. Like another reviewer, not sure a poker theme is right for breakfast atmosphere. Staff was generally friendly but I’m a bit disturbed by someone with bright green hair serving food. Was also a bit odd that when our waiter introduced himself and then asked us our first names as well. Are formal introductions in this setting really necessary? Don’t waste your money! Overpriced, for bland, tasteless cold food!

I wanted 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon a biscuit with gravy. They offer no meal near that on their menu. It came to $17. I asked if they could substitute like other restaurants. The waitress was obviously scared to address this issue. I asked her to get me the owner she tried to talk me out of it. I soon learned why. He was so rude. Basically, said this is how we do it and if you dont like it dont come back but in a way that the whole restaurant was a part of it. I felt bad for everyone. So I paid my bill and have never been back. 2 eggs bacon and bread is a standard in any breakfast restaurant then order a side of gravy for a couple of bucks. But to treat me so rudely when asking if this is possible was uncalled for. I have never been to a restaurant that didnt go out of their way to make the meal a more reasonable price if they didnt have exactly what you were looking for on their menu. The food nor the atmosphere is worth putting up with that kind of treatment. There are plent of great breakfast places that are more than willing to cater to the customer. I will certainly go to those places, and the food is much better too!

Fast friendly efficient service, large portions and pretty cool atmosphere. The sausage patties are homemade, not frozen patties most breakfast joints use. The breakfast tater smash stuff was awesome! You could tell the owner takes pride in this place, as he was continually looking at all tables to ensure beverages never went more than half empty and busser always made sure plates didnt pile up on the table. Continual table clearing makes me happy! Only criticism I can offer is to wait until the patrons are actually away from the table before flipping the table. The server put new silverware and plates on our table and we were still putting on our jackets and gathering belongings. Table should be fully wiped down and cleared before new items for next patrons hit the table. Makes you feel rushed out the door. Other than that (which wasnt worth deducting a star) everything was excellent. Ive worked in food and beverage for 14 years and this place deserves a great review. Giving kids a poker chip is a nice touch too! My son loved it! Will definitely be back!

What a horrible place to eat. I mean HORRIBLE with a capital H. Food is overpriced and the owner has some serious anger issues. He made a little boy cry in front of the entire restaurant all because he didnt like that he was touching something on the wall. If you dont want young children in your restaurant then put a sign on the door. Also, this place is super rude when it comes to finishing your meal. They want you in and out. Too bad that this long time customer is taking their money elsewhere. Really poor customer service, food is blah, and the owner needs some help with their anger issues. This place has had problems for awhile. If you look on other review sites youll notice that the owner has had issues dating all the way back to 2011. Making a kid cry is where I draw the line. Ill be sure to tell everyone I know never to eat at this place.

Ive read several of the reviews and all seem to center around the owner. I concur. A friend of mine and I were there and were asked to leave by him. Our meal was served and had a hair in the gravy. We sent it back. It took awhile and I was able to finish my meal before my friend got his. As soon as he finished the owner approached and asked if we were done. We explained what happened and he told us he needed the table and we needed to pay. No apology. I called him later and told him I felt he was rude and again, no apology and said we shouldnt have lingered as he needed the table. This happened a year ago and I have not returned and will never give him my business again. Theres too many other places to give my money to.

First visit to this place. My wife and I were waiting in line, and there was 2 couples ahead of us. The first couple was waiting on a table, so the couple behind them went to claim 2 open seats at the bar. When another 2 seats at the bar open, my wife and I went to take a seat. A waitress put her hand over the counter and very loudly told us to get back in line that they do not seat people at a dirty table. She spoke very loud and the customers all turned to look at us. I was not expecting to get yelled at by a waitress. Once we were seated the staff was in a terrible mood. We did not enjoy our experience and will not go back.
