I just went into this coffee house, walked with my baby in stroller across the street from the outlet mall. I come in, pull up to the counter, and the woman behind the counter says shell be with me in just a minute. I pull just to the side so that she can give the man who was waiting his coffee, thinking she will then ask me what I would like, nope, in the mean time two other people have gathered and both waitresses behind the counter ask them what they would like...my baby is starting to get fussy so I proceed to leave...empty handed...while Im waiting to cross the street the first waitress comes out to bring something to a couple waiting outside. I dont normally do this, but I confronted her and asked what exactly happened in there...her response "I didnt see you"....umm....you didnt see me waiting RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU with my baby in a double stroller? I NEVER write reviews, negative or positive, but I dont care how good your coffee is if your service is that poor!! I will not go back!

Actually I stopped by a few weeks ago but never had a chance to try them because that they were busy that day and I have to wait for a long time. But finally tried them last week after seeing all these great reviews. It usually happens when you see great reviews and wanted to see for yourself its always a disappointment maybe because of the high expectation. But this time it wasnt. I tried their different types of oysters and you can taste their freshness and can still smell the sea water. Then i tried the Uni, so fresh and tasty. Absolutely in love...... It was a great experience. Will be back for sure.

Very nice coffeehouse across the street from the madness of Lighthouse Place outlet mall. Good selection of teas (some loose leaf) and pastries, and nice lunch options. Free wi-fi, and several power outlet. All wood decor, with a second floor balcony with additional tables. Small number of tables in several sizes. A bit loud if full, but the wood makes the acoustics more pleasant even so. Ive been dropping in here every year or so for many years.

Personal favorite coffee shop in Michigan City. Close to the mall if youre just in town to shop, reasonably priced lunch/breakfast food, Bit of Swiss pasteries, great coffee/espresso. The upstairs seating is comfy for talking, working, or doing homework; theres even a table for six up there if youre trying to meet with a group. Outdoor seating also available. Lakeshore opts for the rustic, beachy vibe over the sterile modernity so common these days.

A quaint place seated on Wabash, the coffee specials are always a treat. A great stop before heading to the dunes for a fall hike. Sitting inside is always pleasant and the location basks well with natural light. Breakfast here is wonderful, and there are many treats to choose from.

Service was excellent. My turkey Pannini was to die for along with my apple, and my chai tea latte even more so! I seated myself next to a window and looked out on this quaint little town. If you want something even better than Panera Bread and Starbucks combined this is it!

My new favorite Coffee/Expresso place. Very warm and friendly environment. Conveniently located across from the Lighthouse Outlet Mall of Michigan City. Cozy upstairs seating, serene outside view and nice little place to meetup or enjoy a cup of coffee.

Their drinks are a little pricey, but they are good quality. They have specialty drinks that change with the different holidays and seasons, as well as your typical drinks for those not interested in venturing very far from their caffeine comfort zone.

Perfect coffee place if you want to enjoy relaxing for a minute. We loved the flavor of the coffee because it reminded us of Italys coffee. Perfect temperature for drinking and foamy. We will be back!

I order the same thing, one large coffee with one shot of espresso. Sometimes its $3.80, sometimes its $4.87. Who knows why, but it doesnt take away from the 5 stars I give. Thats how good it is.
