Food is fabulous. A bit greasy, but thats the way it is everywhere. They do have a vegetarian option where they steam cook things so if your stomach cant handle the oil, opt for the steamed versions. Interesting that they have their female teen and a small boy running the cash register at times. The last time I was there I ordered about a half dozen Items and waited while several people who came in after me placed their orders and got them before I did. It took at least 30 minutes to get my food which would not have been an ordeal at a regular restaurant. But in this case, where there were only a few tables and they were occupied, I had to stand for 30 minutes and watch all those people get served before me. Once I finally got my food, I was offered no apology for the wait. The two children played and made all kinds of noise at the cash register and the adults in back cooking yelled at the kids often while people were trying to eat. Its not anywhere you would want go to do anything but pick up a to go order unless you like crowed and loud. But, on a high note. The food is delish and I would go there often if I could afford it. Expect about $10-12 a head.

Kind of mixed feelings about Happy Dragon. Theyre geared up mainly for takeout but do have tables for dining in. We got takeout. The spring rolls and egg foo yung were both very good. General Tsos chicken was good but not great as I thought the sauce was a bit bland for whats supposed to be a spicy dish, and the chicken was somewhat over-breaded in my opinion. The vegetable lo mein was good but a bit salty. They gave no condiments (soy sauce, duck sauce, Chinese hot mustard, etc) or other add-ons like fortune cookies, chopsticks, etc which is unusual for a Chinese restaurant. Well go back again and try different dishes since I believe you cant judge a restaurant on only one visit.

I always recommend Happy Dragon for good chinese food to anyone. They are quick and it a family owned business. I get the beef mei fun extra spicy and I have about 20 other people that I have gotten hooked on it because it is so good. They have quality service and food. I noted some people commented on it being greasy, but its Asian cuisine that is fried and made in a wok, so Im not sure what they expected to be honest. I love this place and the addition they have been to our community!

when I first found happy dragon I was thrilled because it was pretty darn good..however the last 2 times Ive got it (different dishes) both of us eating agreed it didnt have much taste..and mushy chicken is always a huge turn off :( what is that?? so I guess I will keep looking as this isnt my favorite place anymore sadly... p.s. grand china glenway ave, cinti was the BEST!! I wish they would come out of retirement!

Cyndi: Why should we trust you? do you own your own Chinese restaurant, or are you a chef? Just because you eat A LOT of food does not make you an expert!! Happy Dragon has very good food, not the best Ive ever had, but definitely not the worst . They do a very good job and are always very friendly!!

I think the food is really good, I usually eat at a place called The Golden Dragon but its in Ohio on Northbend rd. and its to far. This Chinese place is the closest to go to and I love the food. And if you want something cooked a little different for you, they happily make it for you.

The food is great and the service is great. A little bit of a wait time for the food because its actually made fresh for you. Ignore the negative reviews, Ive never had one single negative experience there. Again, great food and friendly great service.

Its the best Chinese place in town. Its leaps and bounds better than the buffet in town. Everything here is made fresh, with premium ingredients. Its literally the best place Ive found in a 50 mile radius.

The food tastes good however it is very greasy. Next morning there was a thick layer of just grease on the surface of the water. Needless to say, my stomach was not happy the next day.
