Ivette mis vídeos.
Desde que habrieron el Buffet nos encantó venir seguido en especial a mi novio que le encanta los mariscos pero hoy que estamos en la hora de Dinner no me gusto que el mesero que nos está atendiendo se nos acerco y dirigiéndose a mi novio le dice es un plato por persona de Crag legs honestamente me molesto en la forma que se dirigió hacia nosotros en lo que llevo sentada aquí se me quito el hambre y he visto a varias personas sirviendose más de un plato de las famosas Crag legs y en otras ocasiones también he visto gente asiática sirviendose más de un plato entonces cual es el problema el letrero dice 5 Crag legs por servicio por persona honestamente está actitud me molesto siendo que el mesero no tuvo ni la menor delicadeza en explicar las cosas por esa razón no creo que les de 5 estrellas tenía otra forma de pensar pero me equivoqué "el letrero debería decir 5 Crag legs por persona una solo vez no se puede repetir varias veces",!!

They were not very nice. We were shown to our seats and then the man who seated us forgot to leave our drink ticket at the table for us, so our waitress did not bring us drinks - even after we sat with our food and obviously had no beverages. We had to get their attention, & they kept asking if we just walked in and seated ourselves. No because if we did we wouldnt have silverware. They took another ten minutes to get our drinks, and we had already been eating about 12 minutes. They were searching for the ticket instead of just asking us what we wanted. Then we had to call them to our table repeatedly to get our refills. They would walk right by and look at our empty glasses and keep going. I would always say thank you and show manners when they brought back our drinks and they acted extremely rude & snooty. They repeatedly dropped plates and left the food laying on the floor, that place will not be nice very long, if they do not take any better care of it than that. Otherwise, the food was great & the man up front with the better English had a wonderful personality and was very kind. They have a good variety and there wasnt any notably dry or old food on the lines. We will go one more time and if the service is not any better we will stick to ichiban. They may not have quite the variety but they have much more pleasant service.

i have to say the overall experience was good, the food was great and the staff waiting our table was efficient, but they were overwhelmed by the crowd. the time waiting to be seated was not what it would have been the first couple of weeks after opening and probably it was less than 5 minutes. we didnt really like sitting in the doorway on the buffet side but the dance of the customers filling their plates and the staff servicing the buffet was entertaining. the food was very good but my wife had to ask what some dishes were made from. my family and i ate well, to include my daughter who is absolutely the most picky eater ever. i hated that i waited until finishing before looking over the sushi because i couldnt try it, but it looked fantastic. there was so much good food that well probably be back there this week for a second visit. as someone else stated, its very different from Ichiban. i missed the octopus salad but i think the squid was better!

Where do I start. Was seated, ordered drinks, took kids to the potty, got their food and still no drinks. Went and got my food at the grill and still no drinks. Had to order them a second time. Speaking of the grill. It is the best part about this place, not because it is awesome but the food was at least cooked fresh. The bowls for the ice cream sit 6-8 inches away from the raw meat section for the grill. If that is not a night on the toilet I dont know what would be. The entire non carpeted area of the floor must be mopped with their used cooking oil. Very slick so if you want to avoid injury hold onto something. For every 3 forks, spoons or plates I took off the rack I would replace at least one of the three for a cleaner one. Most places Im willing to give a second chance unless they make me Ill. This place wont get that option. I wil never eat here again. Avoid at all cost. To my kids. Im sorry we went there.

The overall experience is like going to Walmart on a Friday night for dinner (if Walmart was an Asian restaurant, that is). Average rating is due to average quality of *most* of the prepared dishes. Many are bland or taste like they came out of a can. However you will find some premium items and the price is reasonable. Also the crowd that tends to go there is typically noisy and unruly. On the good side, they advertise that they offer over 250 items on the buffet and thats true. They also have a ton of raw food items you can choose for the grill along with a really big sushi bar. The buffet is laid out into sections (e.g. american style, fried foods, international, etc.) making it easy to jump to the spot you would like to start. Upon several visits at various times, the food is usually kept up well to stay fresh and hot.

I have been to chow king 4 times now, I have been with family and even took people I work with. We all loved it, the food the service all of it was great. I do agree its 100 times better then what was there before. The price was great also, I think it has gone up by now but I knew that was coming to stay in business. I would also agree it is about the best buffet in Dothan, but I see some bad reviews here and for the ones telling the truth Im sorry you feel that way and that it was bad for you, but I also know that some of these are people that do reviews for a living and some people will leave negative reviews no matter what. Please if you havent tried chow king dont take what you read to heart, please try it and get your own opinion. Out of all 7 of us that went will definitely go again.

I actually loved the variety of food and the bar was fully stocked. All the employees were great to. My issue is the sanitary of everything. The bathroom had pee on the floor, that I was lucky enough to slip and fall in. So yeah now I smell like piss and hurt. As far as the bar goes not enough controls in place for minimal contaminations mainly from nasty customers. Just because you put a wet floor down that protects you legally in the range of 25ft usually, does not mean youre not supposed to mop at or. This is neglected regular maintenance here. Gah smh & for the love of God, get a soft serve ice cream machine so your less hygienic customers arent knuckle deep in cream cream contaminating it for everyone. Gross

Im really shocked at the good reviews on here. Dothan has never had a big Chinese buffet like this, so theyve probably let their standards drop a little- or simply do not know better... but wow I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was so mediocre, utensils at buffet were not changed every 2-3 hours, per buffet guidelines, so they were all crusty and people had touched all over them... chicken was chewy and bland...but what really did it for us was when we were cashing out and saw into the kitchen area where they were draining the tea canisters into the FLOOR DRAIN! Yep, you know, the spout where you get your tea from? Into a dirty floor drain. Im so disgusted, I tell everyone not to eat there.
