First off, let me say dont go here if you are squeamish about health code violations. This place gets tons of them each year. That said, Ive never gotten sick or felt weird after eating here, and Ive done it over a dozen times. The buffet is ok - not a ton of variety, but a few reliably tasty dishes. The real win here is ordering takeout. The portions are great, the food is fresh, and once you know what you like, its great. Some of the dishes are somewhat bland, but the szechuan chicken is quite good. Be sure to ask for extra hot chili sauce as it isnt very spicy. The family that runs the place is nice and tries their best to please. Not bad for small town Chinese place, but there are much better options in bigger cities.

They are on the pricey side but there food is good.. this is the first Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at and I dont know if that is the reason but for some reason no other Chinese for compares! I have never liked the A1 and now it is shut down for cleanliness.. wonder why! Its the only Chinese in town now but it was the only one I ever liked anyways. Good selection.. They dont always have fresh food though.. I wouldnt go if they arent busy. And they are slow at getting drinks.

Unlike everyone else from Portland that cannot use proper grammar or read period I think this place is a toss up when you come in whether or not youll be sick for a day or the week. I dont suggest ever eating here late at night they get lazy and dont refresh their selection.

Pros: Food is good if you dine right at lunch or dinner time. Price is about average with other Chinese restaurants. Cons: Not much variety any more on the buffet. Food is dried out if you eat between lunch and dinner hours. Bathroom is always disgusting.

Ive grown up with this place, so maybe Im biased, but I really enjoy it. Nice people, good food and my favorite part. The little boy whos always watching Pokemon when I come in to eat. Dont tell him, but I watch it when hes not looking. ;P

Although i do live in portland..i love that its close and good. Its really the best on Sundays though. Mostly love their chicken and brocolli and chicken lo mein. YUMMY!!!

We mostly stopped going there. Its ok, but chinese food is only good when it is. Now, A1 Buffet! Now thats foozh. Not like dieses foour. Snagournuf.
