One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Waited almost an hour for food to arrive- and this was after having to flag our waitress down because she forgot about our table. My husband ended up going to the bar to get water for us. They were so ridiculously understaffed that they had one waitress for an entire section- which included a table with 15 people. I felt awful for her. We complained to management about how this poor woman was dealing with all these tables, including this huge party with no help. When the food finally arrived it was not good. Cold and just not worth the money. Better fries and sandwiches can be had at Penn Station, better burgers at Five Guys etc. Basically, you are paying for the Applebees style stuff on the wall it seems like, because they obviously arent "wasting" money on a proper wait staff or quality food. They were also telling people it would be an hour or more to seat them- while multiple empty tables were in plain view. The people waiting were visibility upset. I told a few people with small children they would be better off going elsewhere. The only way this place is going to make it is if they get new management. Whoever is running this place is absolutely clueless. Props to our waitress though. She needs to go somewhere else where she will be better valued. How she was treated today was a disgrace.

Not impressed. Waited 15min for a table. Not bad. Waited 1 hr for the food. Horrible. Presentation was lackluster. Place had no character. Just another all sports place with too much focus on the bar area. My local McDonalds has a better seating area. Everything just felt ho-hum. Only sit down restaurant ive been to that uses paper plates?!? Meals came on something that looked like an old dog food dish. The gf got a tenderloin. I got the chicken breast thigh sandwich. Big mistake on my part. Thigh is a garbage piece of meat. Should be 2 breasts. GFs tenderloin was massive. Plus there. Fries were good. Boneless wing are garbage. They were basically chicken nuggets. Was just chicken breast cut up. Never seen boneless "wings" like that in my whole life. Got an 8 piece. They were smaller than mcnuggets. Yet twice the price. Pretty disappointing experience. Wont be returning.

The service was awsome. My food got to me surprisingly quick. My sandwich was very tasty, I had the pastrami. The problem that I had was with the atmosphere. I understand that this is a Pittsburgh institution and theres probably gonna be some Pittsburgh"stuff" sprinkled in, like Mean Joe Greene being in the mural of Indiana sports heroes when you walk in the front door. Understandable. While enjoying my food I look up and say to myself, well thats an EXTREMELY low blow. Theres a photo of Colts CB Nick Harper being tackled by Steelers QB #7 in the 2005 afc playoff game. As a Colts fan this brings back bad memories of what could have been....beat 1 guy, ONE GUY, the big slow quarterback!!! Im glad i was almost done eating because my appetite was ruined! So if youre a Colts fan, come for the food but be prepared for the terrible imagery they have hanging on their walls!

My first visit was July 9th, I ordered the New Yorker to go over the phone. They left off the cornbeef, but the sandwich was very tasty so I dealt with it. Again today the 12th I ordered a New Yorker, todays sandwich included brown meat, which did not taste right and smelt off too. I called and was told my order was mixed up with another order that wanted beef and pastrami. Huh, that person would have gotten cornbeef and beef so they still messed up. The manager said, "what can I do to fix this? When are you coming back in I will make your sandwich myself." Nah, Im good, just going to get my money, there will not be a third go round for me.

Food was mediocre at best. For an appetizer we got wings since it was bone-in wing night. The authentic buffalo sauce was awful. Three of us didnt even finish the 8 wings brought to the table. For the main courses, we got two sandwiches and a burger. The sandwiches were soggy and the slaw was sweet. Perhaps we should have gotten the sandwich toasted. The fries on the sandwich didnt add anything to the flavor of the sandwich. The burger had no flavor and was greasy. Everything was served "fresh", I believe this is just the quality of their food. Probably will only be back for beers and fries.

On our first visit our waiter and the manager both quit on the same day. Food was just OK at best but we have had much worse. We are holding off until they get the place under control before we give it another try. Eat at your own risk until we update this restaurant. Return visit : All I can say is, this place is just sad. The service is almost nonexistent, they will let you set for 15 min. at a time and not even walk past. I think its gone down hill with this vsit being much worse than my last. I give it a D-

Our server was really nice, but it was clear they were very understaffed for a Friday night on race weekend. It took a long time for us to receive our food. Our onion rings were raw, and many of us received incorrect orders. I was not impressed with the food i received. The meat did not have much flavor. The bread broke apart and had no flavor. It is a very large portion for a decent price, but it just doesnt taste very good. I really wanted to like it. :(

Food was great sandwiches are large service was great Price not to bad for as big as the sandwiches size and I cant understand some of the negative reviews if you want to spend less then 50 on a dinner for four maybe fast food should be thier choice not a restaurant and you have to box up 1/2 a sandwich to take home like our whole table did I consider it well priced and they have great meal and drink specials

Our waitress Kelly took excellent care of us. There was a small mix up with one of the orders, but she got it taken care of right away. Food was hot and fresh. We arrived at 3 min to 9, so got to order off of the 5 after 9 menu. It is hard to find a place open late on a Sunday night, that doesnt charge an arm & leg for the food, isnt steak and shake, and the food is GOOD. So we will DEFINITELY be back!

I had the New Yorker sandwich. It was a hearty sandwich. I really liked their coleslaw, which for me, is saying a lot seeing as I hate coleslaw. Stick to the sandwiches, as it is their signature food that made them famous. If you select something else (gyro), dont expect something spectacular, thats what greek restaurants are for. I posted a pic of my sanwich too, yummy!

My food was excellent in quality and taste. The service was prompt and servers were attentive, friendly and courteous. My experience was 100 percent positive and I encountered none of the negative aspects cited in other reviews of this restaurant. The price of my meal was a good value considering the quality and satisfaction received. Highly recommended.
