Location is great -- a taste of Italy with the gondollas docking in front. Staff is very good. Food is flavorful. The problem? The portions are small. If you order a sandwich -- it will be a third the size of a Subway. Side salads with a full sandwich are in a container with about twice the volume of the salad dressing on the side. A meal of a half sandwich, side salad and a smallish glass of wine -- running $20 -- leaves one wanting more...

My sandwich tasted great. Ordering food went well and the traffic moved at a good pace. The service got slower after we got our food. We got someone elses meal, the hand off of our food to the right person was awkward. The employees seemed flustered. They did seem to make things right regardless of how long it took though, so I do give them that. Ive only been there once. It is a nice view from the riverwalk.

The location being right on the canal makes for an almost sure place stop when enjoying a nice afternoon stroll. The peanutbutter gelato was tasty, and the local beer selection was surprisingly good. The outdoor patio had more space and seating availability than the interior so its probably better to go when you want to chill outside. Great little place on the canal.

Cute little cafe on the canal. Service is very rough. It seems as though everyone that works here is brand new and no one really knows how to to do anything. It took us 20 min just to get 2 iced lattes made. Would be a much better experience if service was on par with location and scenery.

My wife and I very much enjoy this place! The staff is awesome, and the location is everything! Being able to relax on the canal and eat some great food, or go walking with some Gelato or Italian Ice, is SO nice. Weve gone twice, and will continue to! Prices are very fair too.

By far the best italian beef sandwich i have tried in this city. go. go! What are you waiting for? What are you doing still reading this? The beef sandwich is just so good! i loved it! now i have to go back and try the meatball sandwich. A+ on everything.

Coffee is terrible, it’s watered down instant stuff that has no flavor, sad for a cafe to not serve quality coffee. We had 4 different kinds of coffee from lattes to espresso and nothing was good. We didn’t try the food but that looked good.

Their minestrone and Vegetale pizza are amazing. The service is really nice and the people are really nice. Their lemonade and ice cream are so refreshing on a summer day. Visited once a month ago and got hooked to the place..

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough about how yummy everything is here! Service is pretty good, weve even had the owner service is before! Top notch! I almost always get the margarita flatbread and have never been disappointed

Wife and I had a caprese salad and margherita pizza on naan with homemade lemonade and vanilla gelato to finish. The food was great for a fair price and amazing service. We will definitely be back.

I love this cafe... very European and, as if that isnt enough, they have the best Italian beef outside of Chicago. Minestrone soup, garlic bread... fantastic!! This cafe brings the canal to life!!

Everything about this place is great! The food, the staff and especially the Italian ice! The lemon ice is always yummy, but if youre lucky you might get to try cherry or strawberry. Mmmm.

Italian ice has a very good texture and is located in a great spot. Got the tart lime ice and it was good but could of been a little stronger on the lime.

This is located at the center of the canal. They have amazing drinks such as lemon and lime freezes. They also have the best margarita flatbread.
