I just got back to the US after living in Southeast Asia for the last four years. I was told that this place was really good and served "authentic" bubble tea. I went in and started ordering, while speaking Chinese. The guy behind the counter looked annoyed that I was speaking Chinese and responded in English, asking what flavor bubble tea I want. This seemed odd, since traditional bubble tea doesnt have various "flavors". I continued to order but switched to English. I noticed that it took a very long time to get the drink, which also seemed odd, because it takes less than 2 minutes from ordering a drink to receiving it, in Asia. While I waited, I saw a woman bringing the guy a tray of bubbles (tapioca pearls) from the fridge, which is a bad sign. The guy came back without my drink, for some reason. I asked him what kind of cuisine was offered, since the theme seemed inconsistent. He looked at me like I was stupid and didnt even respond. I said "well, I see one dish is Mongolian, another is Thai, another is Taiwanese, etc" to which is snapped angrily "CHINESE, this is a CHINESE restaurant". I decided not to point out that none of the dishes I had pointed out were Chinese, and instead I just let it go. He quickly walked away and a few moments later he brought my drink. It was tiny. The bubble tea drinks in Asia are 2x to 3x as large as the one he brought me, and they cost between $1 and $1.50. This tiny bubble tea he brought me had costs around $4 or $5. I gave it a taste and... It was awful. They used cream powder instead of fresh milk, and the bubbles were old, cold, and hard rather than fresh, soft, and warm. I asked the woman who was now at the register (I spoke Chinese so that none of the other customers would understand me, in an effort to save the workers from any feeling of embarrassment) "why is this drink so small and yet so expensive?" to which she replied "oh, no, this is the normal size and price that it always is in Asia". I said (still in Chinese) "no, this is very small and very expensive, in Asia, they are much cheaper and much larger". She replied "oh, really?" To which I said "yes, they are...". She didnt respond after that, she just gave me a dirty look and then walked away. I had never mentioned that the drink was also awful, but in an effort to leave on a positive note, I lied and said (in Chinese) "this is a very good drink, thank you" to which both the man and the woman scoffed at me and didnt respond. As I was leaving, my friends from Taiwan called me (video call) and I showed them the bubble tea. The first thing they said was "wow, why is it so small?!". When I told them what had happened, they looked embarrassed and said "wow, those people are giving Asians a bad name, thats terrible. You shouldnt go there, anymore". This place is overpriced. The bubble tea I had was awful. The workers are incredibly rude. I will never go back and I will actively make sure to steer people away from this place.

Yummy. So went in there got a togo order. The place was modern I would go on date here but they should cover the kitchen idk was weird to see all the pots and pans in my opinion. But the chairs and tables were clean and good. Alward arrangement for trash which is basically a rolling rack with bins, maybe more formal. The menu is kinda limited in my opinion but there is something for everyone. Its not a typical chinesse random place, its a bsitro and to me it shows! Order took a while to come out. But the food was hot, delicious, and amazing. I loved there bejing beef, my sister loved there other beef, and husband loved the chicken with vegetables. It comes with 4 pieces of cali, fried rice, crab ragoom, mini spring roll, ginger and wasabi. We also ordered dynomite sushi box, which was good. Salad looked ifi but i ate it with the sauce and it was good. I loved the food. And if i travel done i would definitely recommend!

Where to begin. First, we ordered the Bento Special with bubble tea then got a phone call explaining that the bubble tea was not included even though the special said it was. Then wanted to charge me $3.25 for it when the website said $2.95. Second, it says free delivery after $20, yeah that didnt happen... in fact they charged me $2.50 instead of $2. Third, it took an HOUR to get here... most of us only get an hour lunch break, now we have to eat at our desks. Fourth, I specifically requested no avocado but oh lookie there avocado hanging out. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Go order inside but do NOT get delivery, you will regret it.

Got a drink and noticed it tasted funny. Double check the cup and there was food caked on the inside. Gave them the cup, went to get a new one, and noticed several in the stack had food in them. Stuff usually gets that way when cups soak in dish water that has everyones food in it. Nothing was done about the cups already out. After I told them about it and gave them my cup they didnt send anyone out to get the other filthy ones or check them. Disgusting. Food was good though.

My favorite takeout Chinese in town! It can become slightly crowded different times of the day but its usually not a huge problem. The wait is usually pretty long either dine in or carry out. But as I said, best takeout Chinese in town. Best deal in town as far as what you get for usually under $10. Check out the pictures in the description if youve never had a bento box, you get a lot. Would definitely recommend General Tso box

GREAT food. A total of 9 tables. Yes, thats right. A restuarant in downtown Indy has 9 tables. OR you can sit at their bar, which extends out about 10 inches from the wall, and pour $26 down your shirt because the dish doesnt even fit. 9 tables!?!?! Used to be a nice quite place to grab lunch. Now its packed to the brim with unemployed hipsters who have no common courtesy.

The bento box is a generous and diverse meal. Red curry extra spicy every time! Can be slow during lunch rush, but no worse than any other place this close to IUPUI or the hospital. They only call out your food, not your number on the receipt, which leads to serious confusion some times.

The food is cooked with savory flavors and made quickly. I love the Bubble Tea too! Only one other place I one makes Bubble Tea, yet Bento does it best. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is kept clean, which is always a positive to how they keep the food well prepped.
