This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I am chowin down on some left overs as I write this review. Last night my wife and I head to Green Paya as she knows it is my favorite restaurant. I told the owner of the restaurant it is my 21st birthday, and that I would like to have one of his favorite beers. He gave it to me for free! This isnt the first time hes given me free stuff, we also got some freebies when my wife and I went there for our anniversary. My favorite aspect of this place is the spice, you can get pretty much any dish at any level of spice. In all honesty, I think Green Papaya is the only thing about Montgomery Im going to miss when Im gone.

ordered Pad Thai lunch special to go. i asked the waitress if it was sealed properly for the ride back to my office. she agreed it was secure. got to my office with a plastic sack of orange goo! the soup and pad thai had opened and spilled. i had to spend my lunch hour cleaning out my car! the meal was not salvageable. one star for extremely poor service and a waste of my money, time and lunch. i wont be going back. since the restaurant wont open again for dinner, i had to leave a message! 7/5/17

First of all, I love this place. I recently moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area, and after trying DOZENS of Thai restaurants, I have yet to find one that matches the quality of this Montgomery gem. I wish they would open a location in Dallas :(. A must visit if you are near Montgomery! Dont even bother with some of the flashier Thai joints. This is the best in town.

I used to go here often, and the fried rice was great. However, after moving back to the area after a couple years, I tried it again recently, and the food was night and day different from before. We got fried rice, and it tasted absolutely horrible. The vegetables were clearly from a can, and there was a huge amount of salt. Unfortunately, we wont be going back.

Excellent food, really friendly staff, and they are so quick. We have gone several times and they have your food out within about 7 minutes of ordering, every time. The outside of the joint looks a little scary but the inside is actually clean and pleasant. We continue to go back, because the food is fantastic. Kao Pad, green curry, you name it...

Closed during their open hours. Didnt answer the phone so we drove over and door was locked. Lady at counter said "Were closed. Theyre gone." Called 30 minutes before closing and got there around 15 minutes to closing. Didnt want to eat in, just wanted food to go. If they want to be closed that early thats fine but they need to change their hours.

YUM! We went and got chicken green curry, duck ginger stir fry,(both hot) and apps. The spring rolls were only OK but the entrees but the entrees were outstanding! Great layers of flavors, lots of meant and veggies. Far warning, the ONLY restaurant in Montgomery I have found that means it when you ask for hot! Finally found real Thai in the Gump!

The pad Thai here is amazing, but the hours suck! For a restaurant that serves dinner, I think 8:30 is not a reasonable time to close, although I understand that they ate on a side of town that I wouldn't want to be past 9! But seriously, the food is awesome, especially their pad thai!!!!

Great local food for Lao and Thai options. Their Pad Thai was delicious, and most entrees are served with white rice. The staff was efficient and friendly, and our drinks were never empty. Ill definitely be returning soon to try more from the menu!

Small and slightly cramped space thats seen cleaner days. Bathroom cleanliness is also lacking. The basic mild Pad Thai was sweet and by adding various spices was easily customized to my desired spice level. Fast service but not that attentive.

Didnt look like much driving up, but the food is great! Lots of choices that were all really tasty. The pad Thai was just perfect. I got the duck curry and the duck was on point, the curry was flavorful, and the heat was balanced.

I am disappointed with Green Papaya for messing up my order for the second time. I only asked to remove the tofu, but instead my meal was missing shrimp and it wasnt hot per my request. I will not eat from them again.

Absolutely awesome service and food. Best Thai food I have ever had. Spicy fried rice is my favorite. I always get hot, definitely spicy. Better get there early for lunch, always very busy.

The Pad Thai is certainly a must get and the dining room is great. However, the restaurants hours are sometimes tough to make and any of the dishes outside the Pad Thai seem to be just ok.

Pad Thai tofu is what I like to get here. The currys are good as well. Its usually very difficult to get in for a weekend lunch. Go at 11AM or 1PM.
