I lived in Greencastle for five years as a student and an intern and a large number of my best memories have a home at Moores. Usually far off the average drinking Depauw crowds radar, Moores is a favorite of locals, professors, open-minded students, and anyone looking for a good time. Even though Moores can be a little rough around the edges sometimes its sharp attitude is always subdued by its quaint small town charm. Not to miss: Karoke Saturday nights with Danielle, Shawns "Agent Orange", and the best $11 steak dinner in town.

We were in Greencastle last week visiting some good friends and they talked us into going to this place. Moores Bar and Restaurant is simply a really great, home town, folksy place. Its like going into the Cheers bar. Not real fancy, mind you. But, who cares. Everybodys real friendly. Atmosphere is great. Drinks for great. I just had a cheeseburger and a beer. It was excellent. I highly recommend you try out Moores Bar and Restaurant the next time youre in Greencastle.

Good Music! Good Happy People! College town small PUB local hangout! I am polite where ever I go and I tip well and dont cause any problems. On occasion a couple different bartenders have been unfriendly and with a slight attitude and Customer Service is high Priority! I dont. Go out often and is a bar but I expect good service and friendly atmosphere with Respect! Rude is just ugly! My opinion!
