Im from Chesterton and moved away a few years back. I came to visit family and friends for the weekend and I noticed a lot of old local businesses had been replaced by new ones. This is one of the new businesses and my buddy who loves sushi took me here and told me how amazing it was. I was pretty skeptical cuz I live in the city now and its a pretty small town so could they really have such great sushi? Well they do! Absolutely amazing and better than any of the places in the city. I am so impressed with the quality and the ambiance. I hope this place is around for years to come and becomes a staple in Chesterton so I can come here every time I visit from now on!

Had the tempura shrimp appetizer, chicken and scallop hibachi dinner, and steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. Cheaper than House of Kobe, but much lower quality. Appetizer tasted like it was from a box. Steak & shrimp, and chicken & scallop hibachi was a smaller portion, and tasted only slightly better than Chinese take out. Scallops were very salty and over cooked. Not worth the money, wed rather go to House of Kobe or BC Osaka.

Went in a few weeks back ... I ordered THE filet steak plate... was very good a lot better then Kobe steak house in my opinion the taste was fresher...However the tempura appetizers were very greasy and lacked seasoning

We had just finished hiking and were craving Sushi! Was so excited this place was minutes from the dunes. It is really cute inside. The service was great and the food was delicious both Sushi and Hibachi!

The rolls are tiny but cost more than at other, and better, Japanese restaurants. Had to order a lot of rolls to feel full. I feel a bit ripped off.
