have eaten here almost once a week for years and it usually is good - not great, but for a small town in indiana, okay. but, earlier this week, not so good. ordered three chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce. after an eternity (and this is at 11:30 in the morning when the place only has a handful of patrons), food was delivered. it was basically slightly above room temperature - so obviously it had just sat there for a while someplace cooling off while we waited. It also didnt consist of three chicken enchiladas and unless poblanos now come tomato flavored and colored was covered in some other kind of sauce. at least the cashier manned up and knocked off half the price, but still....

Huge portion sizes for the price! I love the decor and it feels very authentic. Seems there are drink specials often. Server definitely didnt speak English as his first language, but we worked together to order my food and it made it that much more authentic. Please dont be those picky people at the table behind me though and modify everything to death. Its an experience, experience it.

I find it hard to believe that there was bad service at this place. Weve always been seated immediately with chips and salsa practically following us to our table. The food always comes quickly and is always really tasty. This is always my favorite place to eat when visiting family in Columbus. So glad they just opened a location in Fishers. Highly recommend!

If you can pass the language barrier youll do OK. This place offers great Mexican cuisine at an affordable price. The quality of the food comes through the taste. The white cheese - oh my goodness some of the best. Out of all the Mexican restaurants here in Columbus Riviera Maya is the best. Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

Good mexican food with truck load of cheese and cream, that sums up the food you get over here. Service was fast though language can be a barrier some times for them. Do try fajitas for sure, one of the best around town. The salsa served with chips is either too mild or too hot (mixing them also does not give good results, so dont bother with that).

Went on a Sunday around 4:30. Riviera Maya already had quite a few people eating there - good sign. There wasnt a wait as there are tons of tables. Our waiter was very friendly. Ordered the Armandos Pizza and it was awesome. Will be going back.

My friend and I go here at least once a week for lunch!! Love their salsa and queso. Always cheap and service is Amazing!! Berto is my favorite waiter. He is funny! Recommend Maya to anyone who loves Mexican food!!
