Food: The food is delicious however like most buffets it is best to go during the lunch or dinner hour. Any time in between the food can get stale because it doesnt seem to get switched out as much, however if you ask they will switch it out. The desserts are questionable sometimes there good but I tend to stay away from eating them due to the taste. The Jello on the other hand is great. The texture of the soft server ice cream is kind of off. It is still good but could be better. Service: As mentioned in another review the women who clears off the tables is extremely friendly and the people at the front sometimes show expressions but other times dont. The owner(think he is at-least) is always there, never talks though. Other then that great service. If you ask for fresh rice for example, they tend to quickly switch it out. Dinning Room: The dinning is in bad shape to say the least. The booths have tape on the seats, the walls have tape, to keep the wall paper from coming off. The booths tables are a reach. And a word of warning Never put your hand under the table you will regret it, the tables tend to be very sticky underneath. Top side however are clean. [Update: 10.25.16] They got rid of all the booths on the second floor, looks a feels more comfortable. Though the dinning room is in bad shape dont let it discourage you from going. The food is delicious. I brought up the dinning room just because I think it needs to be renovated or cleaned up a bit. I love this restaurant and I will always recommend it.

It was very dirty inside and it was completely self service from getting your own silverware and drinks. Used rags were left by the drink station. I found 4 plates that had food crusted on them and many more that had chips or were cracked with pieces missing in the middle of the plate. The iced tea came out hot (pretty deceiving) since it was marked iced. The flavor was excellent but you had to fill the cup full of ice and wait for it to melt to get the drink cold. The food was mediocre at best. The hot and sour soup was lukewarm and tasteless. The sweet and sour sauce was hit and good. We came around 1:30 and some of the food looked like it had been out all day.

The food was just AWFUL!!! I gave it 1 star because the chicken wings were just Ok...and at the very least doable... I got some crab Rangoon and all three were EMPTY!! zero filling at all..I brought it to the attention of the server who was taking care of the dining room, and she just shrugged her shoulders....I tried most of the staple items, like the generals chicken..And most were a great disappointment, and not really even edible...The items were being replaced fairly quickly, so I shouldnt have expected that ALL the meats, whether it was beef or chicken were overly dry..Sadly, even the ice cream tasted old.....I will be looking elsewhere for a Chinese fix....

Ive been going to this buffet for years with my family. The restaurant used to be very good, but has declined over the past year or two. The staff, while somewhat "expressionless", are very nice; especially the young lady that cleans your table (I think shes worked there for 5+ years). The food is either incredibly good, or incredibly bad; and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to the time of day this occurs. We used to really enjoy going here, and in all honesty Im sure well go back once in a while, but overall the place is in serious need of maintenance; which is ultimately (IMO) reflected in the quality of the food.

If you like chicken and rice dishes, youll love the buffet. If you want nearly anything else, however, youll have to go somewhere else. Out of three tables of food there are at least six types of chicken and five kinds of noodles, but there are no dishes with seafood or pork. What they do have generally isnt terribly fresh, either; much of the food is dry and merely lukewarm. On the bright side, the lunch is only $5.25 so its one of the cheapest places to eat in Carmel. Just remember that youre only going to get what you pay for.

Usually I dont give bad reviews. I understand this is a buffet, and I shouldnt expect gourmet food. I usually can find an item or two thats reasonable at any given buffet thats reasonable, and fill up on that. I tasted every main dish, and it was all either tasteless, overcooked, or just poorly seasoned. The chicken was tough in every dish, even the sweet and sour chicken. The teriyaki chicken was mostly fatty pieces of chicken. I dont think Ill look at a buffet restaurant the same way again.

I will not go back to this place to eat again. Their food is always cold and the food doesnt have much taste. They has raised the price alot to eat there. TV in the one eating area is still broken after a year and they dont have the sound on to hear the TV. They always have their small child checking the people in to eat while the owners sit in their ass. It take a long time to bring out more food. This place is a joke. DONT EAT HERE !!!!! Its not worth your time and money

Absolute worst place I have ever been. The rice was crunchy, the shrimp was cold, and the chicken was tough. I took one bite and instantly regretted my decision. If there is one piece of advice I can give you in life, my Chinese-buffet loving friend, is do NOT come here. Youll have a better time chain-smoking an entire pack of cigarettes, drinking a pint of bottom shelf vodka, and sending your parents nude pictures of your genitals.

This is a nice and quiet place where many people stop by for a nice lunch. Although the woman who takes your dirty dishes is extremely friendly, the staff at the front desk will give you no expression whatsoever. The food is good and they have a good amount of different types of food. Nice place to eat with Chinese music playing quietly in the background. It may be plain inside, but it is a very peaceful place.

Tastes great. new food is brought out often, and there usually isnt much of a crowd when I go in. (~2:50 pm on weekends.) A decent selection, and I havent encountered any bones or masses of fat in anything Ive eaten thus far. (10+ visits.) Something that surprises me, given how many times Ive found that in more expensive places. Overall, much better than I expected from a Chinese buffet of this price.

Terrible, i have been eating here for years and this time i good food poisoning! I was not expecting this. I had not seen there health exceptions, which by the way are also very poor and other people have gotten sick there too! I recommend this to nobody especially to the elder and kids mostly because i see them quite freculanty when i go. Please dont go here, you may get sick its not worth it!

I love this place every time me and my fiance are in the Carmel area we always stop here. They are friendly have low prices for lunch and dinner. The chicken sticks are so good here lol and there pork egg rolls are great! They really are a nice little affordable buffet. Lunch 5.25 Dinner 6.25 drink 1.09 water free! Great Prices you cant beat them and lunch combo to go 3.95!!
