As I write this, this is a tie for the worst experience with a Mexican restaurant Ive ever had. (So long as I dont get violently and near fatally sick, itll get the ranking of 2nd worst.) When I walked in and saw there were only 5 customers and 8 waitstaff members, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, after waiting for 35 minutes those hopes were long gone. By the time the single dish that was ordered arrived, I had lost all interest in eating. I picked at it for 5 or so minutes, asked for a box, paid my check and left. Could have saved myself time and gotten a better meal for half the cost and in 1/10th the time by stopping at Taco Bell instead. Relayed the overall experience to hostess and she was very apologetic but didnt offer any resolution. Took home the leftovers hoping that while they were still warm that someone at home would want them and the only one interested was the trashcan. Luckily there are two more sit down Mexican places in Brownsburg or Id have to drive to Avon.

We came in just before noon and were immediately seated. They offered an all you can eat lunch special which my son and wife enjoyed. They came out frequently to replenish. Their menu is original-- it is not the public domain menu that most of the Mexican restaurants around here offer. I ordered a Portobello vegetarian taco meal that is original. Many problems-- the server barely spoke English so it was hard to convey or order; my meal was brought much later than my wifes and sons and when it was brought to me, it was handed to me across the table in front of my wife. When I took my plate I immediately felt searing pain-- it was that hot; the server didnt notice because she was wearing an oven mitt. My food looked very good but had a foul odor. The tortillas feel apart when I picked them up. Im giving three stars because 2 out of 3 people in my party had a positive experience.

We have gone here several times. Each time we go back because the food is pretty good. Each time we have gone, we end up with a waitress who gives terrible service. The last two times, my husband has had stomach issues after eating here. My daughter asked for a water 3 times and was ignored. My husband had to ask for it to get any kind of response. The first time we went we were impressed with service and food. It has gone down hill ever since. The waitress could be seen standing by the kitchen talking and never checking on us. My daughter set a timer to see how long it would be to check on us after our food came. She never came back except to bring the bill. We have a lot of great restaurants around us, so we will probably never go back. I dont usually write poor reviews since my husband and I have both worked in the service business.

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Love the food, the service, and the people. Have not had a bad experience. I love the lunch special, All You Can Eat Tacos & Soup. Also, they have a great special for Senior Citizens on Wednesday nights, 50% OFF. First time I ate there, my bill was only $11 for two big meals, was not aware of the discount on Wednesdays. I highly recommend this to everyone. Also, love the chips and dip, excellent salsa.

The food here is exceptional and the prices are very good. The best part of all is the service. Some of the English isnt so good, but its one of those instances where they more than rise above that with just genuine feeling customer service. They have a good kids menu for the non-mexican lover and always bring the kids free ice cream. Above and beyond and always consistently delish.

If you go during peak times service can lag but compared to when we first started going here a few years ago (2013) the service has significantly improved. The food is solid and the price for what you get is pretty typical to what you would expect (around $20 for 2 diners). This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Brownsburg by a mile.

Me and my wife have been coming to tequila sunrise regularly for almost 3 years now. Hands down my favorite mexican restaurant. Great food, strong drinks, and friendly staff. Just make sure you get the texas style magaritas, they cost a bit more but the flavor is worth it. Looking forward to many more dinners here

Better than average Americanized Mexican food. I had chicken/steak fajitas and they were very generous with the meat and had great flavor, plus the price was a little lower than Los Toros and Cancun. The service was a little slow but it was a busy Saturday night. Salsa was pretty good and had a good kick.

We come here at least once a month. The staff is polite and helpful. Free sundaes on Sunday which is nice. The kids selection includes chicken fingers, burgers, and pizza as well as the Mexican entrees. Sometimes things are slow but generally its not.

The food and margaritas were VERY good, and service was also great! Whenever we are traveling near or through Brownsburg we always make sure to stop in and eat. We have never had a bad experience here. Always great service.

Great food here, but service is repeatedly slow, otherwise would have 5 stars. The person seating people is also the cashier which means if there is a line of people paying, it takes that much longer to be seated.

Great food and its a perfect place for family dining. Relaxing and fun place where the kids can have their pizza or whatever, and we can have a great tasting dinner. Well kept bathrooms and good service.

The food is amazing! Every bite was perfection. My husband loved the mole dish and the taco salad was out of this world. The service was great, too. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Not near as good as used to be. Ground beef tasted like it was reheated. The rice was not good either. It seems that the quality of all the food in general has declined. Service was decent.

Forget being the best Mexican restaurant in Brownsburg, it is probably the best restaurant period in Brownsburg. Great service with fresh ingredients and strong drinks! Whats not to love?

It is the best Mexican Restaurant in Brownsburg. They have been expanding their menu over the past couple of years and it is quite extensive now. Our favorite place when we go out locally.

Service was a little slow but the hawaiian faitas was great! Atmosphere was relaxing with the little water fountain in the middle. Id suggest giving it a try, they have a large menu!

Solid Mexican in Brownsburg. Probably one of the best Mexican places in the burg. Service can be slow, but food is pretty good, and staff is helpful. Will continue to dine here.

This is a hidden gem in Brownsburg. Try their choriqueso dip! The menu deviates from typical Mexican restaurant offerings, encouraging you to try something new.
