This place has gone way down hill. Ive been going here for years and each time Ive gone the food quality has become poorer and poorer. Just yesterday I went with a relative of mine. I ordered the parmesan chicken, my favorite dish from them. What I got were two slabs of greasy fried chicken covered in cold cheese and only a handful of pasta. To top it all off, my plate was burning hot yet my entire plate of food was cold within five minutes. My relative ordered the chicken penne, and while he said it was good, his plate didnt even come out hot and his food was already cold. Every time we have come here he has always been served cold food, which they can fix after a couple of tries. The last time I came here was in February, and the food was better, although they said they were out of their signature bread. My date and I were bummed, but said it was okay. Not 10 minutes later did we see the same waitress serving the table across the way bread, and she never once offered any to us. But now that the bread has changed from wheat with honey butter to white with some kind of odd tasting sauce, I dont think we missed out too much. I still love the atmosphere and the service is alright, but the food is suffering, especially for the price.

First, I have to say the bread was amazing... incredible flavor with an especially nice oil spiced up with a vinegar like seasoning. The flavors on the foods were good, and though their "dirty rice" did not live up to Cajun standards, if they called it something else, it would taste just as good, only it wouldnt lead me to expect "dirty rice". Second, the service was very nice, and if we had more time to spend, we could have had a chance to see how they were when food was returned. We had three different meats - ribs, sirloin and mahi-mahi and all of them were over cooked and dry. I never use steak sauce, but asked for it to help me eat the well-done (asked for medium). I couldnt finish it. The portion sizes are large, but in this case even the large portion size didnt account for the high price. The other sides were so-so, (dont recommend the spinach or potatoes au gratin) and nothing but the bread begged for more. This is the third different restaurant from Cunningham Restaurant Group, and all met with disappointment. I think I will either save $5-10 a plate for the same quality at Texas Roadhouse or spend $10 more and bump up the quality at Harry and Izzys

My wife and I had lunch there today, and we agreed it was the worst lunch we ever had. It took 45 minutes to get the all you can eat soup and salad. (She ordered the soup and sandwich.) Her soup was tasteless (chicken tortia), and mine tasted like melted cheeze wiz (buffalo chicken). The portions were very small. I ordered a second salad, and asked for a larger one. What finally came was only slightly larger. My wifes sandwich was made on grocery store loaf bread with a slice of processed ham and fake cheese slice. It looked like something a third grader would carry to lunch in a paper sack. And, mind you, it was only 1/2 of a sandwich! They even charged 20% for a tip! The waitress never acknowledged our 45 minute wait for the meal. Our total bill was just at $30.00. (We had ice tea to drink.) I will never eat at Boulder Creek again and I will discourage others from doing so. By the way, this is the first time I have ever reviewed a resturant online. Dont waste your time and money on this one. There are a lot of other choices in the Hendricks County / Brownsburg area!

Went there yesterday with group of about 15. Most of the adults got the brunch buffet and liked it very well. The others ordered meals that should not have taken very long to prepare. Several other tables seated after us were on dessert. The ones in our group who ordered the buffet had time to eat 2 or 3 times and we still did not have our food. We received our meals about 50 minutes after ordering. I questioned where our food was and a manager came to the table. Stated it would be out in a couple of minutes took about 5 more minutes, and all we got was an Im sorry, not a let me take a little bit off the bill or let me give you a dessert, nothing and we still got charged an automatic 20% gratuity on each individual bill. i told the manager that our other guest have finished eating waiting for us so we could leave. Did not seem to care. The servers were great so they would have been tipped anyway. Well thats okay Boulder Creek, you stuck it to us this time, but in the long run you lose, we will not be back. Work on ways to better take care of your customers when you make mistakes.

Just a tip for you...... DO NOT ORDER THE FILET! It is about the size of a quarter. We actually laughed when the waiter brought it to the table. You know you are in trouble when the waiter asks you immediately after setting the plate down, would like to talk with a manager. He seemed to agree it was pathetic. Then we ask for manager to take steak away and bring 12 oz New York Strip. We have had this steak and figured this is a safe selection. Well.... what did he do??? He brings a so called larger Filet. Not the NY Strip I requested. This Filet was the size of a silver dollar..... He said this is a 8 oz. I was blown away. Did he listen to my request? Was I unclear? We gave up. NEVER ORDER A STEAK AT BOULDER CREEK without seeing it first. Or go to another restaurant!!! Best choice the latter.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary & decided to go back to the one place where we are never disappointed & the atmosphere is great. The bread & dipping sauce was the best Ive ever eaten! Even what we brought home & ate the next day was great. Im addicted to the pizza chips, which we always ask for even though they are not on the menu. We had both the cheesecake & the brownie sundae for dessert ... awesome! Will go back again and again & wont have to make a reservation or wait in line! Thanks Boulder Creek for making our anniversary even more special!

I enjoy Boulder Creek each time I come. The decor and seating is very cozy and has a relaxing rustic setting. From starting the meal with their freshly baked bread and spiced oil to dip it in, to all the great menu options, Ive never been disappointed. The tenderloin sandwich is large and the pork moist and tasty. The bourbon burger cant be missed, for any number of reasons. And though you may not usually eat dessert, everybody should check out the options. Something will more than likely catch your eye.

Have to say that the food was not too bad. Had shrimp, which was rubbery, but the sauce was good. Son had chicken strips, which were fine. It was the service. Generally slow, the kind where you find yourself thinking "Wheres my food?". Also, and this clinched the bad experience, when they brought the wine to us, there were several fruit flies along with it. So, food OK, service not so OK. C-/D+. Unfortunately. Bill for three was $90, plus tip.
