Sometimes, its the journey, not just the destination that makes a great trip! Head south out of Bloomington, IN for an enjoyable drive on roads that twist and undulate leading you to the Fairfax Inn. A favorite value lunch is the $5.00 grilled chicken special - served with crinkle fries. The best time is on weekdays for a quiet meal, however, if you enjoy crowds and Country music - hit it on the weekend. Fishing, hiking, and boating at nearby Lake Monroe is a plus.

We used to love going here. Its close to home, a scenic Harley ride there and has a laid back ambiance. ...But the last 3 times have not been a good experience with today being the worst. They seem to spread the staff too thin. The wait time was 30 for the first drink and over an hour for undercooked (fast) food. Sadly... done with this place!!!

I love this place!! A terrific chef (Travis), and a welcoming atmosphere. The bartenders are wonderful and make this place superior to many other establishments!

There was nothing good. Waited 45 minutes in a smoky dining room and never even got all of our drinks. And there were only 3 other tables at the time
