This stuff just marginally passes as food let alone Chinese cuisine! After the first horrible experience, I made myself give them a second chance (mostly because it is one of the cheapest around). Ugh! I had the two meals for $12. The fried rice that came with the sesame chicken had a definite hint of bleach or disinfectant. The sesame chicken was fried to hardness and the beef lo mein had two tiny pieces of something that looked "like" beef. The noodles were huge and the sauce was so dark - left me wondering what they were trying to hide. The egg rolls were really soggy, which might be the result of throwing it in the box with the rice, chicken, and noodles - no separate packaging. I hate ragging on local businesses but you need to check your standards, taste and presentation matters!

This is the worst food ever. Took 2 hours when ordered at 130. Food was absolutely disgusting. General tsos chicken was not fresh at all very old and super chewy. The meat was dark gray in color. Food had hot and cold spots so u know it was microwaved. Rice was not rice in my opinion. No veggies or anything in it. Super hard and chewy like rubber with weird chemical taste. After 2 bites of entire meal it was thrown away because I truly didnt feel like spending the nite in convulsions from food poisoning. Oh and the egg roll..... How can u mess up an egg roll trust me the bite I took never made it to my throat. Do ur self a favor and eat a TV dinner or starve. Ur wallet and stomach will thank u. Board of health please shut them down!

I ordered my food and it took almost a full hour and a half to get here. I live on the same street where the restaurant is located, I thought that was ridiculous. The delivery man was rude, he just handed me my food and walked away. Half of the sauce from my entree had spilled in the bag and all my duck sauce packets and fortune cookies were covered in sauce along with the bottom of both my containers. I had to wipe off everything before I even got to eat the food. the orange chicken was overcooked, and dry. The chicken and broccoli was way too salty for anyones taste and it tasted like salt was the only thing it was seasoned with. Most of my food was cold, luke warm at best when I got it.

I was so disappointed with my order at Hunan, a coworker suggested it because they delivered, but the food was nasty. I ordered chicken and broccoli along with egg drop soup. The chicken and broccoli tasted funny and SUPER SALTY, it was drown in sauce, actually mostly sauce and rice and very little of anything else. The salt was so overpowering that I couldnt eat the food, so I tried the soup but it literally tasted like salt water with an egg scrambled in it. Even my husband who LOVES egg drop soup was unable to eat it. Never had so much salt in a meal ever, I think someone spilled the bottle in my meal. NASTY NASTY.

Solid, simple Hunan style food with absolutely zero pretense. The menu and signs say "carry out & delivery" and they mean it. The shop is tiny and cluttered, with sparse decoration, and has no dining area. The staff are not chatty, but are friendly and efficient. The food is all very simple but also very flavorful, with less of the gooey Americanized sauces many folks are probably used to. The prices are low and the portions are good, so if you like this style of food, this is an amazing spot.

Worst Chinese restaurant in Bloomington. Bad foods, bad services. I ordered a 15 bucks delivery from them, but i putted wrong address, after calling them to change the address, they said and i quote: " You gave us wrong address, and we gave to our driver, you can call a cop and we dont care about your food, no food for you, alright?". And of course, money are not refund to me. GO TO OTHER RESTAURANTS

NEVER MAKE AN ORDER FROM THIS ****** RESTAURANT. DISRESPECTFUL AND AWFUL SERVICE. I ordered my food at 11:30P.M. and called them by 12:30 to ask them when our food was coming. And the owner started asking me if we wanted to cancel our order or just shut up and wait. So we cancelled while waiting for the food. I will never recommend to order from here. NEVER

All these bad reviews are just expecting too much from a hole in the wall Chinese take-out place. Will the guy answering the phone have a degree in communications? No. But the food is very good Americanese. Is there an over cooked chewy piece of chicken every once in awhile? Sure. But the two entrees for $12 is hard to beat.

This place isnt the best nor the worst. However, they do have several good dishes. They do have shrimp toast and they deliver, so thats a plus. My partner likes the bbq pork with pea pods, and I favor the roast pork egg foo young. The moo shu pork is very good as well...especially the concentration sauce they serve with it.

This place is usually good and fast. Took nearly two hours for delivery, and the worker who answered phone was extremely rude and said a manager didnt have time to talk to me when inquiring about status of food. Suck it hunan. Avoid and just go to Great Wall. I also live just 3 blocks away

This was literally the worst Chinese food Ive ever had the displeasure of eating. I ordered Orange Chicken and my sauce was completely brown. The breading was extremely hard and there was barely any meat. It took a hour and a half to get my food just to be completely disappointed.

Worse Chinese food Ive ever had. Ordered General Tsos Chicken, no broccoli, dry chicken, no sauce. Egg roll was too greasy to eat. I would have taken it back however I live 15 mins away, rather Ive chosen to write this review to alert others and never go back.

Not sure if just caught them on a bad day but the crab Rangoons tasted like they were made of cardboard. The fried rice and generals chicken also sub-par. The lo-main also has a weird texture and kind of tasted like play-dough. Good price but not great taste .

Doesnt give you what you order. Very greasy and my lo mein had so many bean sprouts then noodles. The guy that works there was not sympathetic at all but argued with me. I will stick with the dragon off oder Jordan they are the best in town.

I am not sure what these other people are talking about. I visit House at least once a week and the food is always delicious. The 2 meals for 12$ deal cannot be beaten. If you order, get take-out, its much better when eaten fresh.
