My husband and I come here all the time, and it is our favorite spot in town. We love a variety of ethnic foods, and this is the first place weve been to that serves Burmese. My favorite is the chicken curry with coconut rice for an entree, and the Mandalay fritters for an appetizer. Oh, and the Jackfruit shake is amazing! The service is great and friendly. Try to go when the college kids are gone, as it gets kind of crowded on the weekend nights.

A "must try" place! All the 8 dishes ordered by our group were yummy!! I especially liked the chicken egg roll appetizer and the shrimp fried rice with salty fish. I wish I could give one more star for the sweet lady who owns the restaurant. She was so kind and nice to us and she makes delicious Thai iced tea! I loved that Iced tea!! I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent restaurant, great food with authentic Burmese dishes like Tea Leaf Salad and wonderfully hospitable owners. Ask them all about their own experiences of Burma and life in the United States. Amazed and delighted this place exists in Bloomington, Indiana!!! We go here all the time and will miss it when we have to move away. . .

If you like spice this place is hands down gonna kick your butt, the servers warn you when choosing your heat level. My new favorite place to eat on 4th street. Its well done tons of options including vegetarian, seafood, pork, beef, curries and noodle dishes with soups available too. Only downside is there is limited seating.

I gave it a one star because I ended up throwing the food we ordered. If you want to try their pho, make sure to smell the broth first. Ours smelled like rotten animal, and it didnt even taste like the one in Greenwood IN (Pho Lai) . Im very disappointed. Will never come back to this place.

I have worked and traveled in SE Asia extensively, so I have eaten lots of authentic SE Asian food. This place was fantastic! I have had lots of Thai food, but the Burmese cuisine here was a distinct and wonderful change. I will definitely go back again.

It is great ethnic restaurant. The food was fantastic and so was the host...really had a good time. They have some authentic recipes which was worked for me as a vegetarian. Overall: worth every bit of your time and money

Tea leaf salad and coconut curry are excellent. There are excellent choices for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. The spicy scale here is a little steep, so most people will stick with 3 or less.

The Burmese restaurant is the best! Not only is it reasonably priced its also serving up delicious food! Great for those with gluten allergies since they use a lot of rice flour in their cooking.
