I loved this place, I got the super strom sub and was not disappointed. My wife was not a fan but I came here expecting a home-town feel with simple meat/cheese/bread like the stroms I have had from small town Indiana. I have not had other menu items yet but I look forward to returning and trying the pizza. We also got house salads and I believe I will actually purchase a pint of dressing as it was a great mixture of creamy with good Italian spices. A little heavy on the cheese (they have the option of ordering without cheese) and they could have chopped up a few pieces of the lettuce a bit better, but otherwise a great experience overall. Not for everyone, as my wife found out, but a good pizza place with traditional flavors and great quality.

The food was good and the servers were professional. When I visited yesterday, the management appeared to have some problem with acceptance of differences. I asked if their pizza dough has milk in it, and later said also that I was interested in possibly getting pizza with this type of dough and no cheese for my grandchildren, both of whom are very allergic to milk products. One man, whom I believe to be the owner, immediately asked, "Is he serious?" Another, behind the counter, said, "This is not Blooming foods (a local store/deli that sells local produce and green type/natural foods and sandwiches)." I have never had anything but acceptance of the facts of the allergy and help from any other pizza place. Needless to say I wont be here again.

What a fantastic restaurant. The ambiance is exactly what one desires from a just-off campus establishment such as this. The staff is experienced, courteous, and the kitchen-staff is absolutely, hands down the most devilishly handsome group of gentlemen that have ever graced my presence. The girls look OK too. More good food than you can shake a stick at. I credit the tall, handsome kitchen for that. Great grill food too. If you ever need food in the Bloomington area, this is definitely the place to go. Delivery, take out, and dine in. Give them a call and take pleasure in your order being taken by some sultry voices. GO PIZZARIA!!!!

Ordered two items...italian roast beef and a small cheese pizza. Waited almost an hour for the food. To the credit of the waitstaff, kept coming back every so often to reassure us that it was on the way. When it came--very disappointing. One limp roast beef sandwich (what makes it italian exactly?) and the cheese pizza was about two inches too small for the tiny pan it was cooked on! Worse, it was Totinos-level quality. If it was made from fresh dough, it sure didnt taste like it. To the credit of Cafe Pizzaria, we were given a 50% discount due to the excessive wait. However, I would not return.

Above average pizza and breadsticks, good salads, and very quick and friendly...the interior is nice and tasteful, and the food was very good...prices were reasonable. the first pizza I had in bloomington, and in my opinion, still the best (what? not mother bears or Pizza Express? heresy!) Id recommend it. Its still pizza, and you arent going to get premium food, but its better than most. 4/5

I have always loved Café Pizzarias stroms. I had not been there for a while and was disappointed yesterday with them. :( The sausage had a very strong taste of sage?!, the bread was different and hard I actually got a cut on my lip, there was no noticeable cheese on it and the sauce use to be sweet and so good, I want the old ones back! :( Please & Thank you!

Delightful pizza and sandwiches at this eternal Kirkwood landmark. The family and I enjoy their simple, thin crust pizza with sparing sauce, light cheese, and delicious toppings. Sandwiches are served on big fluffy bread with plenty of tasty pickles. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly.

I cant believe this place is still open. I first went there over 30 years ago and the food is worse today. The ivy covered exterior is charming but the pizza is the most horrible pizza I have ever had. Dont go here. Get a frozen pizza in your grocers frozen food aisle...probably 10x better.

I had very good service which goes a long way in my book but the food was not what I expected. The crust was doughy and there was a layer of grease on the top. I had to use my napkins to sop up the excess. The flavor was ok but not great.
