Food was so so. I had the burger with onion rings and my friend the special fish n chips. The soup was ok but the fries were under-cooked and tasted like raw potato soaked in oil (oil wasnt hot enough before dropping in fries). Onion rings were ok, burger was ok but no onion and bun was soggy. Fish was oily tasting. Server was awful! He never smiled, didnt seem to care! Didnt come back (after serving meal) until we were almost done. He sat in an area behind the seating area but in front of the kitchen door area and was eating! He was quick to bring the bill but didnt return with the change until I had to ask for it (he went back to the back to eat more, came back to the front to talk to someone...). Small wonder why there was only one table being used when we came (at NOON!!!) and two tables being used as we left! On a Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. you would think the place would be packed! But seeing the lack of service, lack of caring and state of food.....Il never go back! Dont waste your time or money either.

I was there a few times with friend on Monday evening. But I am stop going there because the waiter call me Chino when he handed me the billed. This is the 2nd time he called me that. If he did not like to have Asian customer, he should put up the sign "Asian not welcome". He did not gave us a good service. Never clean up the table, never take away the dirty dishes, never come by to asks how things go or ask if we need anything or how are the food. I dont want to complaint because I dont see anybody serving beside him or see any manager around. Dont expect 20% tips with this attitude. I am nice enough to left him some tips because the food was not bad. For sure, I will not go back to eat there again. I dont need this kind of attitude.

We used to here all the time until we moved out of the area. We were excited to visit today but then we were very disappointed. The owner really has let this place run down. The ceiling, vents and fan were disgustingly dirty. Holes and missing paint on the walls and sickly looking plants. I guess our visits are over.

I wish I could just walk out right now. I ordered the nachos ugh disgusting stale hardly any cheese, plus it was a shredded cheese not a nacho. Only one guy working the floor, I wish I would have read the reviews before stepping a foot in the door then I would have seen he was a racist. Smh

Its a nice diner and the food is reasonably priced. The service isnt fantastic, it seems like they are understaffed at times. There are a couple TVs in the center of the restaurant. They have good chicken noodle soup.

I come once in a while for the fabulous waffles but come too late and the iron is shut down. The pancakes are great also. Service is always wonderful. Chicken picatta is my favorite comfort food there.

Ive eaten there 10 times over the years. You can get a good meal for $10. Not great but good. Had the deepfried Haddock the last time, very good. Always had good service.
