Ordered the Kale & quinoa salad. It arrived with no quinoa. I informed the waitress who started to inform me what quinoa looks like. Told her I was aware & there was no quinoa! She said it was just a sprinkle on top. No sprinkle. She gave me a testy look & took it back for the indeed sprinkle on top. Dont you think that is how it should br descibed on the menu? No--its called KALE & QUINOA salad! BTW--stated cucumbers in salad--no cucumbers. I was done asking about missing ingredients. The drink was the worst I have ever had!! Ordered vodka on the rocks with a lime twist. A small glass came with lot of ice & no twist. The twist came half way through my watered down drink! That was not vodka on ice! Watered down so much it was difficult to detect a vodka taste! Save your money! Will not be back!!

Great food & atmosphere. Unique, fun food & amazing craft beers. Great for watching sports, but if possible, BOOK RESERVATIONS in ADVANCE. My significant other and I went there for a casual dinner date on 2/4/17 and sat in the bar area. As a former restaurant/bar server, I am very compassionate and understanding of obstacles in serving tables. However, I was disappointed with the service. Again, I recognize it was a busy night with the Blackhawks playing, but the waitress was inattentive and unapologetic about it. I had a business lunch there in the past, and all went smoothly during that visit. Overall, I definitely recommend it!

Music at The Ram. Good idea, poorly planned out. Music is good but who normally sits around drinking beer while listening to club music?....the restaurant crowd at The Ram do...whoohooo....what a snore. Hey Ram..if youre going to do the nightclub thing, heres a hint. People want to dance....move some tables and make a dance floor and promote the thing better. Wouldnt kill you to have some drink specials while youre at it. DJ Mike B was good, too bad no one was dancing to his music, including myself. This could be a good thing, but get a better promoter and night manager 1st. Food and drinks are good..

Ive been going here for years and its my favorite family restaurant for great food and friendly service. If "Cheers" was a real place, RAM would be that place for us. Its a huge place, with a full bar, dining room, private events room, and outdoor dining, so you can do anything you need to do there. They are constantly updating the food and beverage menu so it never gets stale, and the customer service is fantastic. I can truly recommend bringing the whole family.

If you are looking to find a table, then sit, wonder where your server is for 10 mins...then this the place for you. If you are looking for a server who acts like you are an inconvenience...then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a server to NOT check on you during your meal, especially after he forgot the one thing you requested on the side, and not apologize...then this is the place for you. If you want to enjoy your night out...do not come here.

Gave this place a shot as we love the one in Schaumburg, it was a first and last for us. Came here becauae we were in the mood for great burgers, and they were "worse quality then a steak n shake" burger. I had the mac and cheese with prime rib, pretty bland. Had to get out own menus after a 10 minute wait. Only reason it got 2 stars was the banana hefeiweizen on draft, delicious. Save the headache, go to Schaumburg or any other joint in the area

This place has great beer that they brew in house. They have their usual stuff on tap and a few special brews that are seasonal. Pretty decent food, not 5 star worthy but ok. Service is hit or miss. I have gotten great, energetic servers that were absolutely awesome and other times I get someone who seems like theyre doing me a favor by taking your order. Anyway its a pretty good place to hang with friends and watch a game.

We TRY to go here often. The food is good but service can be hit or miss. Ive had a few times where the host seats us and it takes our waiter 15-20mins to ask us what we wanted to drink. Tried the bar area once to see if that was any better and we again sat there for 15mins before we decided to take our business elsewhere. The times we get good service is great tho. Food is good and pretty quick once IF you get a waiter.

My wife and I were in town visiting her friend a few weeks ago. She recommended meeting at the Ram for lunch since I have a reputation for being a beer snob. I had higher expectations because of the referral, but overall it was just okay. I don’t really find myself ordering pilsners often, but theirs is definitely worth trying. It was my favorite out of the beers in the flight.

OMG! What a great meal and beer I had. Just finished the fish and chip platter and still enjoying the pint of 71 Pale ale. My server Kelsie was very helpful in my lunch and beer selection and definitely steered me in the right direction. Being on vacation, I searched for a local brewpub and am very pleased to have chosen the Ram for my lunch today. Two thumbs up!

Food quality is poor. Very poor. If youre going to charge $18 for a salad it better be exceptional. If its not, drop the price. Service sucked and the kitchen sucked too. . I got a coconut blonde and the drink was awful as well. I hadnt been to RAM in years and I wont be coming back. All the way around the experience was a waste of a Saturday.

Place used to be good and used to have good food and decent service but they are slipping hard. The few people who work here who like their job actually do a good job but almost everyone else doesn’t seem like they want to be here at all. Customer service is not that great, even on slow nights. Food overall is 6/10. Service is a generous 2/10.

A group of 10 co-workers wen to the Wheeling location. Three of us ordered Fish & Chips, and was charged $15.95 -dinner price instead of $10.95 - lunch price. A phone call was made, but was told that they cant do anything because we received larger fish. I will remove this review once this is resolved properly.

Ive been to the Ram several times now since I moved to Buffalo Grove. The first time I went there, there was a live band, good atmosphere. I always get a burger and a beer, and all the burgers have been huge, delicious and very good sauces. Beer is good too, nothing compared to Oregon... but good for Midwest :)

If youre looking for a beer and some televisions airing sports, this spot is for you. Im guessing the owners designed this to be a college town sports bar in a part of Chicago that isnt home to a single college. Think beat up floors, rickety barstools, and the gentle aroma of stale beer. Hard to resist, right?

been hangin here since they opened. the Big Red is my go-to beer and i now get 1/2bbls of it for my kegoratar...the Porter is my fall n winter fav...food is good for a bar and service is always good...i even threw myself a 50th surprise party in the side room check it out schumi
