I am the manager at Champs and I am just going to say thank you for the good reviews and going to address the negative ones, we have hands down the best entertainment in the Sauk Valley area, from great local bands, to Nashville Recording Artists there is nothing repetitive about our entertainment! As far as the staff being slow I completely disagree, as I am one of the bartenders and know for a fact people never stand around and wait for drinks, yes when there are hundreds of people in there its not possible to wait on everyone at once but we bust our butts to get people served in a timely manner so I personally take offense to that because I know how hard everyone there works!! As far as being dark, the downstairs is far from dark, we have done alot of remodeling to both the upstairs and downstairs to make it more well lit, yes it is darker upstairs as it should be, it is a nightclub, the 2 bars are lit and the stage is lit well so people can see the bands! I would hope if anyone has a problem they will directly bring it to my attention personally rather than posting false negative reviews on here!

First of all...AWESOME SAUCE!! I dont know what the ingredients are in that stuff but it goes good with anything...burger, fries, wings, etc...atmosphere is great, and great service...The food is GREAT! My stomach is happy, lol!

Wings and sliders were too much to eat for lunch. I guess I will enjoy a delicious supper as well. Wings were good sized, cooked perfect and the sauce was hot. Sliders and the Champs sauce were delicious.

Well Ive gone there a few times and service is excellent. Cute bartenders and very nice. My Champs burger was the best Ive ever had. And I will go back again cause the band that night was great

This place is full of people that are not friendly, service is always slow. Their live bands are pretty good but very repetitive. They always have the same bands. Very trashy crowd.

Fun bands but even with a huge crowd the bartenders are in no rush to expedite drinks. Be ready to stand around for a bit.
