Been coming to this place for 5 years and the service has always been good. We take a motorcycle ride up here just for the prime rib. A 300 miles and 7 hour ride one way. The past 3 years, my boyfriend always gets a really good prime rib and mine has been really fatty and taste awful. This time the waitress talked to the owner and we didnt have to pay for my dinner. We left a $3 tip which was 12% of what are bill was. When we were getting ready to get on the bike and leave, the waitress came out to the parking lot and starting yelling at us that we were cheap, that a $3 tip was hardly enough for the service she provided slong with other inappropriate words. She proceeded to get in her car and drove up to us screaming about her tip again. This was verty inappropriate behavior and uncalled for. Dont think we will stopping there again.

Big shout out to the owner! My wife and I were in town for the night and caught the Packer game here. We ordered food and drinks before the game and they were pretty good and then come to find out the owner put a half time lunch on for a donation. I couldnt resist but it was great! Too bad the Pack couldnt pull it off in OT! Stop in and try this place you wont be disappointed.

Service was great. Food was awesome. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere has a hometown Northwoods feel. Loved that all the sandwiches are available as either a burger or chicken sandwich. I will definitely be back, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through and looking for something quick and easy.

Everything we had...Was the best weve had! Bloody Mary.... STUPENDOUS. Homemade soup...To die for! Avalanche beef and Bacon Cheeseburger were both excellent. Great service, fair prices. Could use a bit of an interior update, but other then that...5 stars!

Friendly staff, reasonably large space with outdoor seating. Offers a variety of different food at a good price with meat that is never frozen. Very scenic with 10 TVs offering sports, comedy, and weather reports. I recommend this restaurant to anyone reading.

the food was very good but we waited 2 hours for it and they didnt tell us the wait was that long. Will never go there again. We got the appetizers at almost the same time as the food. People came after us and got appetizers before us.

Ive eaten here 4 or 5 times & have never been disappointed. This place is a little divey, kinda biker bar atmosphere but I like that about it. Good burgers and friendly service. They have outdoor seating as well.

Great "locals bar" with a very friendly staff and good food. The clam chowder is homemade and is as tasty as any I have had in Massachusetts or Maine. No exaggeration.
