This is my favorite Thai restaurant EVER! They have both spicy and non-spicy options so they can accommodate everyone. I was visiting from Michigan with a party of 7. The restaurant is cozy and extremely unique. The extremely kind owner gave us complimentary egg rolls during the very short wait for our food. We ordered 7 different dishes and all of them were excellent. The service was excellent and quick. The owner also sang me happy birthday and gave us a complimentary dessert. It was made of herbs and was absolutely AMAZING. It completely cleared my palate and melted it my mouth. It took away any sensation of bloating. Would recommend to anyone and cant wait to come back again and again!

Delicious! Average priced dishes but freakishly delicious. I love Thai food and have made my rounds around different restaurants in the Chicagoland area, so I feel pretty darn confident saying that the food here is definitely one of my top 10 Thai places. The woman behind the counter was super polite and friendly; the food came out promptly and hot; the atmosphere was quirky but you can tell the owner loves her restaurant and takes pride in it and her work there. She definitely loves what she does and it shows.

I work at GFS, and the owner comes into the store fairly regularly. She was always nice so I thought I would check out her establishment. First of all it is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. From the fountain on the inside to the plants to the beta fish. It doesnt look like much on the outside, but on the inside its great. The food was also very very good, both me and my GF enjoyed it immensely. We will be going back for sure. If you are in that part of shorewood and looking for good food go there for sure.

Had an extremely well prepared meal here today. Everything was perfect and they went out of their way to accomodate our special requests. Totally different from what this place used to be under the previous owners. Its in a pleasantly quiet location, though that means some people are going to miss it - and thats too bad because this place deserves to be successful. Please try it and tell your friends.

My husband and I tried Siam for the first time and we really enjoyed it. We got the vegetarian Pad Siew, Thai Steak, cucumber salad, and egg rolls. Both our entrees were delicious. Most thai food I get is usually over sauced, but my Pad Siew was great. We were disappointed with the egg rolls though. They seemed like they came from Costco. I wouldnt recommend spending the money on those.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had, its family owned and they provide exceptional service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! My husband and I eat here at least once a week, there have been times when we have gotten dishes that werent up to par and they quickly corrected it. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Shorewood area.

Had a very bad experience here. The service was poor. The resturant was just upsetting to be in. I took my girlfriend here for valentines day. The meals were brought out in 20 minute intervals (we each ordered an entree and both wanted to try another). The cuts of meat were poor and extremely fatty. I hope you have a better experiance

What a delightful surprise! Joins friends for dinner yesterday, and found Smile of Siam to be a place for wonderful Thai food. The egg rolls were delicious. They also have a shrimp appetizer (shrimp wrapped in light dough) that was small but tasty all our entrees were beautifully presented and flavorful. Highly recommended. BYOB.

Its a great authentic Thai food.. and it is the diversity and culture that this community needs! My family moved out of the city to the burbs, and thank goodness for Smile of Siam. The food is fresh, homey and worth the price! Take your kids and eat in or get carry out.. try something new. its all good.

The best thai food Ive ever had. We shared the appetizer combo, shrimp pad thai, basil duck and finished off with sticky rice with mango. And thai tea of course. Each dish was more delicious than the one before. The decor is beautiful. Like eating in a garden. Will be back many times.

Food is quite good and with well sized portions to go with the price. You will wait a bit for the food to be prepared, but it comes out fresh and hot. Weve have had most of their curries and they are all quite good. Id definitely recommend it if you are looking for Thai in the area.

Ive eaten at this restaurant several times on Sunday’s and it has been one of the most pleasurable dinners I continue to have. If youve never tried it. Great place for dinner "Sunday", peaceful environment and bring your own bottle of wine. Youll enjoy the surroundings!!!

Stopped on an impulse and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of food and the service. I now have a new go-to Thai place! I had the crazy noodles and my husband had the pad thai, and we were both extremely happy with our dishes, and cant wait to try everything else.

Staff is extremely friendly and food always tastes fresh and not oily. We call ahead for takeout because it takes 20-30 min but we dont mind the wait when we do eat at the restaurant because we prefer freshly prepared food. Definitely our favorite Thai place around the area.

Very cool inside...little areas surrounded by pretty plants and fountains...koi fish happily swimming in the center fountain....food was hot fast and flavorful. Very sweet couple run the place...will be back! Yum!
