Piece of broken glass found in my green tea ice cream. This past July I wanted to treat my family to a scpecial place, I thought about Thai Garden, so we went there. After our meal we decided to have a sweet treat and ordered ice cream, when we had our round served my sister noticed a red dot on the top, in which she tought it would be strawberry, but decided to eat it. half way into it she scooped into a piece of broken glass, we immediately notified the waitress, she simply replied, oh, I will not charge you for this cup, then my father noticed a trace of blood on the botton of his ice cream cup, I went back to the waitress and demanded an answer, she kept saying "I will void this other ice cream cup". I demanded to talk with the manager, she said, "its monday and is his day off. and proceeded to give me the bill, I told her that I would not pay for anything served. she replied "okay". I regret the fact that I did not keep the piece of broken glass which could easily cut anybodys throat. and also the blooded cup, thinking back I remember the waitrees wearing a toilet paper napking around his middle finger...Mmmmmm. The manager called me like 2 hours later and tried to convince me tha the red dot was indeed strawberry and that everything in his restaurant was just running fine, a coupl eof days later he called me again to say that he was real happy that the department of health had just visit him and that he had a certificate. AVOID this place as it seems like they do not know how to proceed with a problem of this magnitude, blood in your food? and a piece of broken glass in the middle of your meal? I would be real concern about coming here again. By the way the owner offered me Gift Certificates, Does anyone in his right mind would go back to the place where you almost get killed? Come on. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

I have been to many Thai restaurants - hands down Thai Garden is the best restaurant in the area. May I even say the world? I have seen many regular business and airline employees who regularly come in whenever they get into Chicago - and that includes me. I think that goes to show this place is a favorite. The items on the menu are all excellent - having tried each and every single dish over the past few years - and most importantly, the wait staff is very nice, and above all, the quality of the food has always been top notch. I think youll really really enjoy this place - stop in and I might see you there as a regular just like me!!!

The food is good but dont ever order delivery from them. Ive ordered twice in the last month and each time I received the food an hour and a half after ordering. With the second order, I received the wrong order after waiting and decided to cancel it and order from somewhere else. In addition, the delivery guy called the companies he previous delivered to (in an attempt to find out who had our food) and accused them of having the wrong order as if this was their fault. He also called us back and said he can pick up our order from the company who had it, and redeliver it. Ummmm...no thanks.

We were looking for a restaurant near IKEA after our trip down from Wisconsin. We were wowed by the service and food here! Very friendly staff and quick seating. Our water was constantly refilled. The food came in a reasonable manner on busy Saturday night. The egg rolls were fabulous and the pad Thai and fried rices were delicious. The red sauce on the table was a sweet and hot chili sauce that was a great addition to any entree. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely return if we were in the area! A+

Went along with my high school friends( meeting after 9yrs) to Thai Garden over the last long weekend and I was totally embrassed right from the begining. Leave alone unfriendly greeting, the plates were not clean.......and the food served was totally different from what was ordered. Dumpa**le doesnt understand basic english.....got ginger chicken instead of thai basil chicken and the chicken was half cooked My sincere advice, dont ever go to this worst thai not only in schaumburg but also in chicagoland area

Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants period. It is the standard that all others will have to meet. Order the Thai Iced Tea, then the Chicken Satay......for starters A Must is the Spicy fried rice with pork and the Tum Yum Soup ( I get Chicken and Shrimp in mine but Chicken is great too). Order a large so you have some to take home ... Some of the Best food you will have in your life. I have a friend that comes from Pittsburgh just to eat here. Enjoy a Singha beer with your meal to top it off :)

My mother and I go to a lot of Thai restaurants and are never disatisfied with any of them...however today we visited the Thai garden..it looked really nice inside...however the food was bad..I like peanut sauce in my dish...the peanut sauce they had was horrible...chunks of peanut, too sweet...too much sugar...gross...and they didnt have a dish that my husband always gets at all the other Thai places we go to...so if u are a fan of the kao soi they dont have it...we will not be returning.

I love Thai food. And I have eaten at a lot of Thai places. I found Thai Garden to be mediocre. The Panang Curry had shredded lettuce (like whats used in Subway) sprinkled over the curry. The onion in the curry was overwhelming. The Spicy Fried Rice was too sweet - we expected it to be spicy. Also, the rice in the fried rice was just steamed, with stir fried vegetables placed on top of the rice. The Green Curry was pretty good - that turned out to be the saving grace of the whole meal!

Trying Thai food for the first time and must say was impressed by the cuisine and the restaurant. The ambiance was neat and simple and the food option were plenty. Staff was courteous and service was quick. Tried the sampling platter, Veg pot sticks, basil seafood, Salmon ho mog, fried rice. All the dishes were flavorful and quantity was generous. They even served Indian Beer. :). Would recommend this place for a quite and dinner/lunch which would leave you thoroughly satisfied

They have the best Thai food I have ever tasted. From appetizers to three main course dishes to the desserts youll not be disappointed. Im a vegetarian and they have plenty of dishes they offer without meat. The vegetarian egg rolls are great. The egg rolls are crispy and served with a very tasty sweet sauce. Every dish has a lot of flavor. The service is also great. The servers are very nice. I would recommend this restaurant too anybody who loves food!
