Okay food and service. The wait: It is best to call ahead during normal dinner times to make sure they do not have a wait. For the most part, you normally never have to wait too long anyways. The atmosphere: It is in a very small building with hardly any room. It has Japanese vibes to it though. The food: The portions of food you get here is very poor. You definitely get more at other steak houses. The soup and salad is nothing special (same as usual from hibachi grills). The rice is mediocre in general. They could definitely improve on it. It does not come with noodles unless you pay for them. They are not worth it in my opinion. The veggies (never get actually get them *double order of rice no veggies*) looks like they were the normal you get at most. The filet that I always get is amazing. The taste is great and is up there with the rest of the Japanese steak houses I have been to. After the food: They sometimes can rush you a little bit to get your bill paid so they can seat other people. Overall: The food is average and the service is alright. Definitely more expensive for the little food you get.

I love Fuji. Its been a long standing tradition of my familys to come here when we have something to celebrate and also every Christmas Eve. You really cant go wrong with getting anything hibachi- I like hibachi style, garlic, and teriyaki- and have had their steak, chicken, scallops, and shrimp and its always cooked to perfection. If you get shrimp, get the garlic for sure. Their dinner comes with soup, a salad with ginger dressing, which is awesome, fried rice (THE BEST), veggies, your entree meat and ice cream at the end of dinner. Its worth it to pay the extra few bucks to get the combo and try different seafood or meat options. I have had some of their sushi, but thats not what I would recommend going for. All of the chefs are very experienced and super entertaining, so you wont have a dull night. Enjoy!!!

Fujis is an awesome place to dine for either hibachi style meals or for sushi. If you go for hibachi you can enjoy being pleasantly entertained by the fun and friendly chefs and cooking staff. The sushi bar also always has a great variety of delicious rolls and specials. All of their food is of very high quality and the multi-course entrees are excellent. Sometimes I also simply enjoy just going to the bar for a beverage and know I will be warmly greeted by the friendly and fun employees that work there. Ive been visiting Fujis for many years and have NEVER been even remotely disappointed. I recommend this restaurant for a date night or any special occasions. I also highly recommend the steak and scallops, the scallops are slightly blackened and cooked to perfection!!!

If I could give 0 Stars I would. Their hours on the door clearly state they are open until 10pm on Thursdays. I come in at 9:15 p.m expecting to find out what all the rave is about. I was planning to order Sushi to go. Once in the door a female employee standing behind the bar just stands there staring at me. After our ackward stare down with her not even greeting me, I finally say hello, I just want to order to go. Before I could finish she cuts me off loudly and says "were closed, we close at 9:30". (Which again its still just 9:15). My response was "Oh Im sorry your sign does say 10pm" she just shoos me out the door and kept looking at the floor. Poor Customer service will never get my business!

By far the worst Hibachi I have ever had. The grill cook was a very nice guy but he burnt or over cooked all of our food. My husband tells me this was an amazing place to go to a few years ago, however I was not impressed at all with the food quality. Golden shrimp should be fluffy not slimy and stake done medium should have a pink inside not like a brown hockey puck. Its just sad, there are so many fantastic Hibachis so close- like Ron of Japan downtown, or the one on 30 in New Lenox, or House of Kobe in Indiana. This one really let us down.

My friends and I gathered here to celebrate my birthday. The chef, Jason was very entertaining and good at preparing the food. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The only bump in our experience was with the drinks. The mixed drinks were more juice with very little alcohol and one of the girls, who drinks Remy, had to go to the bar and watch the bartender pour it from the bottle. Her previous drink was a pretend-to-be remy but was actually Jack. Otherwise, a great experience.

Orland Parks best kept secret is this place. Now surrounded by 5 other sushi choices within 5 minutes, this place is still full all the time and even after doubling in size. There is a typical hibachi setting with a menu that has slowly expanded over the years to include many hibachi choices; my favorite is the calimari strips, and I always start with some sort of sushi maki roll from the sushi bar, which they will bring to your table while waiting for the hibachi grilling to begin.

First time here, the power was out but they were able to run half the restaurant on a generator. They were only taking people who had previous reservations however my boyfriend and I were lucky and they squeezed us in. The restaurant was run so smoothly despite the stress the staff must have been feeling given the circumstances. Loved the food, loved the service, loved that other customers knew the owner by name. Will definitely be coming back here!

The hosts who answer the phone and greet you are cheerful and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. They smile and seem glad you are here. The staff is very quick to meet requests and tries very hard to make sure everyone enjoys themselves and is not needing for anything during your meal. We have been here more thannonce and have never been disappointed. The portions are large. The food is good. The chefs are entertaining. A great night out.

I keep on trying to find a Japanese steakhouse that is closer to my house, but 5 or 6 later, Fuji still blows them all out of the water. Their miso soup is delicious and so is the ginger salad. Steak is so flavorful and it is the best bargain of any other. You get soup, salad, fried rice, appetizer, veggies, entree, and dessert. Many places make you pay extra for those things. In a net shell, there is not hibachi better than FUJI!

Food and service was nothing less than 5 stars! Very friendly staff. From the moment I made reservations to leaving the restaurant everyone was so sweet. Our chef made the extra effort to bring up my sons birthday throughout our meal. The protein was cooked perfectly and every sauce was on point! The soy sauce made from scratch was delicious!
