Here goes my story Im so disappointed with my trip Monday June 27th at hooters oak lawn location. We were taking family members to try hooters for the first time. We had a party of 16 when we went in to reserve the chick made a face, like wow thats a lot of people, anyway she said there is a big party where we can seat you guys if you want to wait we can get you in, we agreed. The wait was over 2 hours they cancelled our visit, so I had to go back in there and reserve again which resolved in the longer wait. By the time we were called in they dont seat us together we get one table of 12 people and the other table 4 people who were our visitors have to be left out. I was confused so we wanted to try move the tables together its not fair for the 4 people of our party we invited to be left out we were going to order a big amount of wings not individual platters... Anyway instead of the waitress who was checking in come to tell us I see her running to a man whom Im guessing maybe the manager, and he comes and tells us we cant move the tables. We look all confused so I tell him we were all trying to sit together, and we cant just leave guest we invited sit separate from us so he says you have to move the table back so he walks away comes back in a minute yes we have not moved the table because at this point were considering to leave. We said ok lets stay it is what it is weve waited for a long time lets just eat. Anyway here he comes back and he yells rudely " SO WHAT YALL NOT GONNA MOVE THE TABLE OR WHAT?" At this point all people surrounding us just stare over our way, and one guest even tells him calm down we are, so we begin to move it keep in mind we only moved it about 1 foot anyway as a customer you understand the restaurant has rules which we were going to follow but as a manager/supervisor/worker you cannot downgrade yourself to a level where you will loose the customer. If my boss was to hear me talk to a customer like the way he did to us I wouldve been pulled out in that instant and given a warning. You treat your customers the way you wish to be treated. At that point I took my party of 16 and walked out I said lets go as I was getting up the waitress who was going to serve us come prepared to get started but I told her Im sorry but we are just going to leave I wish I could have caught her name she was the only one who took consideration into asking what was going on I told her nicely I didnt appreciate the way he rudely spoke to us and if they would of told us since the beginning they could not seat us together it wouldve made things easier and we wouldve figured something out or seat us separate but evenly. However, I dont get it there was another big party there seated together but not us? Anyhow I took my big party to Buffalo Wild Wings and we were greeted and seated together promptly. I just wish Hooters gave us a better approach, since I honestly prefer Hooters over Buffalo Wild Wings any day but now with the crappy service Im not sure whether I think the same.

Incompetent Waitress! On Friday March 18, 2016 around 3 pm I dined with my family after shopping for bridesmaid dresses down the road. The bride had never been to a Hooters and we wanted to bring her as a treat. We were greeted and sat promptly. The waitress did come over and take our drink orders but everything else was down hill. We had ordered 1 dozen oysters as an appetizer and then also placed our meal orders at the same time. Being that I had worked in the service industry for years I knew the prep time for oysters was nothing . After 20 minutes of sitting with nothing in front of us ,I tried to find our waitress which was no where to be found. I went to approach the manager at the bar informed him of the situation and at the moment the server came from the locker room where servers just coming on shift were getting ready. The waitress stated "I didnt know you wanted them as an appetizer." This is not acceptable as I had stated , "we will start with oysters as an appetizer." Just then all of our food came in the service window. She walked over to the table with only the oysters and stated" so you dont want these anymore?" We told her we still wanted the food just that it was inconvenient that we would be eating it with all of our entrees. Through out the entire meal we were bombarded with table checks to the point where we could not even enjoy a conversation. It was obvious the waitress was trying to make up so that she could received a better tip. We here is my tip for this waitress. Focus on your table and follow the proper 10 steps of service and LISTEN to your customers. Dear, Hooters Manager please re-eval your staff !

Worst experience Ive ever had at this Hooters! I placed an order through phone and I spoke to young lady named Shariana, she was very very rude with me as I was placing my order and very persistent with getting me off the phone!! My co-worker went in to pick up the food and mentioned that the lady at the front desk was very rude with her as well and got very upset with my coworker when she asked if she can pay separate for some of the orders, she claims she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. As if it was a big deal! I asked her if she got her name and said her name was Shariana! I assumed it was Shariana that I spoke to on the phone and by the rudeness I immediately knew it was her. She mentioned the manger was standing right behind her the whole time!! She couldnt believe he was allowing her to talk to her in such a manner. As she got back to the office my order was completely cold and was not what I had ordered at all! I was very upset and returned back to get a refund and make the manager which was Andy aware of the worst customer service I experienced with his employee , and he seemed very uninterested at what I was saying and just kept quit the whole time not even offering an apology about his employee or even the food!! Ive never experienced this much bad customer seivice at a HOOTERS EVER!! Its horrible that this is the only convenient Hooters in the area! and I love you guys but I will not be EVER coming back here again and now have to travel far just to get some HOOTERS!!!

Be afraid; be very afraid! Why? Because the food, and especially the wings here is so freakin good, that everything else from everywhere else will "fail" in comparison! Im not exaggerating, nor do I have anything to gain by sharing my review. I know chicken, especially wings, and Im telling you these were beyond delicious. Im convinced that one of two scenarios must exist. Either I died and went to Heaven, with Heaven serving such perfection; or its Oompa Loompas cooking in back--using some secret Willy Wonka wing recipe. Or maybe, just maybe, the wings are Oompa Loompas!!! Anyhow, I love it! But in all seriousness, I am speaking the truth with my review of just how great the food--especially the wings--is. And its not just me, but my buddies all agree with my sentiment. The waitresses are polite and management--very courteous. I only know one name--James--whom I observed treating an unruly customer one evening with nothing less than the perfect blend of secure oriented tact, professional courtesy, and a level of care that far exceeds management standards in situations such as this scenario. Kudos for having such an asset on your team. I wish I had the names of the rest of the management team; only because this is a ship well run, and they too, deserve a mention. Great work!
