For what it is, I love Merry-Anns. About the same price as McDonalds (even with a tip) and nearly as fast most days. I come here for lunch pretty often and the food has always been pretty good. Not a great place if youre on a diet or vegetarian, though. Service has been friendly, too. Its made to look like an old-school diner, which unfortunately means the seating is fixed and not all that comfortable, but its great for a quick lunch.

The waiter was very attentive. Though, she was a little too attentive. When Im eating, I dont really like a lot of interruptions. Anyways, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. My good was made and ready quickly. The burger was okay yet the fries were mediocre. They tasted generic, almost as if they were made in some laboratory. This place is nothing special.

Food was meh, staff was nice. I feel like this place was transplanted out of another college town with a worse food scene - there are better coffeeshops that serve better food within walking distance, so I dont really see the Mary Annes appeal. Its, uh, stupidly close? Like within eyeshot of the Quad? Go like 500 more feet to a better restaurant, guys.

Had a delicious reasonably priced brunch (dec. 2016). Friendly open atmosphere, open kitchen (we could watch them make our food) and genuine service. Order breakfast food and was not disappointed! Nothing over the top amazing, but delightful and tasty.

The staff is incredible!! The food is really really good, too. Plus you got that old school diner vibe in there. Its one of the best places in Bloomington/Normal, go there if you attend ISU or else
