Today was our first time in this store. Well, it was great! The owner is very very customer friendly and knows a lot about meat and derivates. He gives us semples to taste from every meat from the shelves. Everything was very tasty and without preservatives or chemicals. His way of treating clients remainds me of small very good stores from my country in Europe, where everyone knows everyone. You can order by phone for bigger quantities and he listen to his clients. We bought smoked ham and a very tasty salami. So for people from Europe who miss their home salami and sausages, this is your new store or for anyone else who wants to try something new and tasty.

Most amazing homemade Serbian charcuterie. This is a second generation meat shop and the quality and expertise really shows. I was born and raised in Serbia in the same region as the owner. His products represent the best that region has to offer. My wife who is not Serbian thinks that his products surpass what we have tried when we go back home. I have to agree. Service is outstanding and Zoran is always willing to lend a hand if there are special instructions needed. I have purchased whole pigs and lamb from Zoran and they have never failed to impress even the pickiest of guests. Keep up the great work.

If you have never tried Yugoslavian cuisine, you are in for a delightful surprise at Lalich Delicatessen. There is something for everyone here from a croissant dough stuffed with farmers cheese, to a spicy red sausage that is perfect spiced (not too hot, not to bland). I live all the way in the south suburbs, but I load up and ask for extras in vacum packed plastic. Try their Sremska, ore even order an entire roasted suckling pig. They have another location on lawrence abotu 5 blocks west of the expressway on the North Side of Lawrence. I believe they have a 3rd location also.

Zoran is super friendly and helpful! The food is always fresh and the cevaps best in town. He also will deliver to the north burbs if needed! 5 stars. My fav Serb place in the chicagoland area (and I have been to all of them).

Big selection of ethnic foods and homemade meats. Great prices and Vera and Zoran are the best. Its not summer until you have cevapcici. They make the best in Illinois. Plus they have two locations.
