Solid good bagels. I appreciate the fact that its not a big chain. I always went to the other location on Touhy. The guy working there today behind the counter was pretty friendly and fast and was happy to make a suggestion. The bagels are fresh and there is a great selection, including the classics as well as banana nut, chocolate chip and cheddar jalapeno. I tend to stick to the traditional onion. They were very generous with the lox on the sandwich! Yum! Highly recommended!

Dont know what has happened. Last two times I went, Bagels that have either garlic, onion or both (Everything) were burned on the tips. Garlic gets bitter when overcooked. Onion tastes worse. On an Everything, it makes a very good bagel taste lousy. It seems they do not care anymore after such a run of good success.

This hidden gem is amazing. Dont let the strip mall location fool you because they have what might be the best bagels in Chicagoland. They also have a selection of amazing cream cheeses, lox and other deli items. If you get there early the bagels are still warm.
