This place is a joke on a few levels. 1. Concept - The place is not authentic Indian. Example Bhel does not look like or made the way they do here. For authentic bhel go to Devon either Uddapi Bhavan or Patel bros. So the question what is the concept? Is it experimental? And is it experimental without any intent? I found all the dishes confusing and no consistency of what was going on. 2. Execution - The flavors just dont come together. The eggplant we ordered fell completely flat. A real baigan bharta is ravishing, not the case here. 3. Plating - My rabri that I ordered looked like someone had thrown up on a plate, my guest agreed and the chef and staff apologized for it. The staff is very friendly here, they just havent been trained. This place is a total train wreck. It needs a serious examination from its core and then strong focus to execute on what is being prepared and how it is being served. I am rating this from a lens of contemporary American Indian fusion twist lens, which is generous. From an Indian food perspective I would give it a half star.

This place is still working out the kinks. For example they serve you small glasses of water even though the food is spicy, and the table top chairs are very uncomfortable and slippery. Service is weird (everyone is doing everything...for example the waiter will take your order while folding napkins, or the hostess will run dishes to you). Food is ok, the Samosas and eggplant dishes were tasty, but the lamb tasted old (not sure why, maybe just the spices??) and we found a bone in one of the boneless chicken dishes. The cocktails taste herbal yet bland. Owners are very friendly and atmosphere is nice. This place needs some tweaks but has a ton of potential. Will come back at the end of 2017 to see if they progressed. I hope they make some changes and the business succeeds.

Lets start out with the food, which was flavorful and tasty at the same time. Portions were a good size to share. Decor was outstanding and very cozy. I especially liked the different lighting areas throughout. Drinks were strong, delicious and consistent. Reasonably priced too. Service was the main detractor. Staff was still working out the kinks (its been a few months since opening). We sat at the bar and had to interrupt the bartender for drinks and food service. Our samosas and naan we ordered never arrived, thankfully we werent charged. Will go back again to have delicious food and hope the service has improved.

Had a beautiful meal at Mango Pickle today. The service was thoughtful and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. My friend and i walked in for brunch service late and the chef came out and was so accommodating- let us order from the dinner menu! Ooooh and the chai was soul warming :-) thank u ill be back soon!

Food was beyond good. Service was only so-so, and the portions were small, which means it got pricey really fast. In order to feed a group of 5 people, we would have had to order 2-3 of each kind of dish. Dishes did not come with Naan or rice, those are separate orders.

Food is great, service is excellent. I love the ambience but its a bit chilly. On our second visit there my girlfriend knew to bring a sweater with her to stay warm. I on the other hand had to deal with the draft.

Uniquely fantastic Indian flavored food. To my knowledge, there is nothing like the experience of the Mango Pickle. Demetrios took excellent care of us - and well be back very soon.

The food is delicious here. The wait staff is delightful. My only issue is the cost. Its pretty expensive for the size of the portions. SUPER yummy!

Drink was great. Samosa was great. But had a clay pot that had absolutely no flavor...not to even mention a depth of flavor.

Great food and ambiance. Had many dishes I never had, or even seen, at other Indian restaurants

Layered flavors; aromatic but not perfumey; the music and atmosphere pitch-perfect.
