We have had 2 parties at this place in the past year. Our first experience was fantastic. Staff was on top of things. They accommodated our group very well. We never had to wait for anything. We just hosted another party there and it was much different. The staff wasnt friendly at all. They gave us attitude about everything. They initially told us they could take our cake ahead of time and store it in their fridge, when we went to drop the cake they said they couldnt take it. We needed another table set up, they didnt want to do it so I ended up having to do it myself. In their reception room, you get 10 pizzas and they are supposed to keep filling them. They never came back to see if we needed more and when we asked they told us it would take to long to make it. When we brought it to the attention of the management they didnt really seem to care that we were dissapointed. We have spent over $1,200.00 at this place and we totally regret it. All in all it was just a bad experience. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone in the future. I gave 2 stars only because our first experience was good.

The pick-up area has very bad service I was there around February of this year, 2016. All I wanted was two-slices of cheese and sausage, the woman that worked there told me she had to check and see if there were anymore cheese and sausage slices being made. They did have a half pizza with cheese and sausage in the warmer. So after she said she would check, she went into the office and never came back out while I was there. So the other woman that was there behind the counter just stood there and didnt say a word. Then after ten-minutes, I said; forget it, I have to go, then the woman that was behind the counter said; no wait, wait. Then I said no forget it, I dont need any pizza now.

DO NOT GO HERE! ! ! FALSE advertisement on non updated menus, they have almost tripled in price. 6 dollars for a bowl of soup? Kiss my ass. This aint chicago or a 5 star bistro. Its a pizza joint. Dont waste your time or money here. Go to Little Joes Famous Restaurante and Pizza. Fantastic in house made food at Fair prices. Yes Im boycotting and encouraging it to everyone I know. They took off menu items including the Blue Islander Burger.

Never have I needed a bathroom so fast in my life. The pizza literally makes me ill. Twice. Same thing. Happens to my nephew as well. Everyone else is so-so on it. But it doesnt even taste that great for all the icky I put up with after. A solid 24 hours of diarrhea. No issues with staff and did not use restroom here.

I grew up in Blue Island where the original Beggars is at on 127th & Western. When I moved to New Lenox I was thrilled to see a Beggars here. Went 2 times - had the buffet.... NO GOOD. Foods was cold and has no reminance to the taste I used to get from the Original. Sorry Beggars.. you lost my business here

Great food but lazy staff I get my order messed up all the time and have to argue for compensation like its the least you can do charging those prices, ruining a customers meal experience is unacceptable with no compensation not that is even with compensation but atleast then the company would be decent

Food is always good but its time to clean. This location feels filthy. Walking to front door garbage laying around! Inside floors do not look like theyre have been mopped in a long time. I dont care how good it is if the front of the house is dirty the back of the house is probably the same.

There is a few things that we automatically think of when we hear Southside. The Whitesox, St Paddys Parade, Irish Bars, Good Mexican food and we have Pizza. Beggers is the Southside spot for Deepdish Pizza and food.

This place is awesome! Great home style Italian pizza. I did a FB survey on a private group from New Lenox residences and this by far won over 300 recommendations out of some 500 for all total pizza places around!

Great service. Really friendly staff. And the food was perfect. I havent been on the Southside in awhile. And I was so glad I stopped there to eat. It was great. Thanks you guys, you made my night.

Lots of cheese and sausage on Beggars style pizza, our family thinks this is the best in the Lockport/New Lenox area. Worth at least a try
