If you have never had sushi or ramen from a halfway decent resturant and have been cursed without taste buds. Well this might Be your place, I say this after just eating there. First off their happy hour is 40% on a good selection of sushi, that is if you bring a wad of cash with you because they only accept cash with the happy hour special. Which I can only imagine is their policy to deture people from obtaining the good deal. The waitress, had to read the menu before she explained this to us, and literally just repeated what was on the menu. My wife ordered a ramune soda which is a very common drink at japanese resturants that come in a bottle and is sealed with a marble. We had to explain to the waitress what it was before she understood. The sushi we did order sat at the bar for literally 10min, the manager walked past it twice and a second waitress multiple times, we were the only other table in the restaurant so they were not busy. So the waitress left our sushi sitting there until our ramen was ready. I have made instant ramen at home that cost less than a dollar that had more flavor then their ramen. The noodles, vegetables, and pork were a good texture. The presentation was a mess, ramen is usually presented in a specific way with the ingredients in the bowl. It was all thrown around and looked honestly like trash. As for taste, seasoning is not apart of their kitchen, the pork had NO seasoning, the broth was basic beef stock and thats it. We had to pour soy sauce for some kind of flavor. The sushi had decent texture, but it had a bad after taste that only low quality fish has. The other family there complained before we got our food, that their noodles were under cooked. I felt a bit sick after eating there and im really amazed and confused as to how this got 4 and half stars. Will not be back, will not recommended.

The place- tiny parking lot, hole-in-the-wall joint type feel. Inside was neatly decorated and clean. Incredibly friendly and lovely hostess/waitress! Food- I ordered their Shoyu Ramen which was wonderfully seasoned and just a touch under-salted which is perfect for adding just a dash of soy sauce. It came with thinly sliced pork, bean sprouts, green onion, carrots, onion, seaweed, and a half boiled egg. The noodles were tender and tasty. It came with a small side salad before the meal, which was just ok, but a nice snack while I waited. Happy hour is 4:30pm to 7:00pm and chefs special rolls are 40% off, with a minimum order of 2. Since I was alone, it was too much food, otherwise I would have tried some. Very pleased with my experience!

I love Ramen and Yamodo is a happy find here in Naperville. I usually order their special Tonkotsu Spicy Miso Ramen and am never disappointed. The noodles are properly prepared and the broth full of flavor (as well as heat). Ive even ordered the ramen for take-out and the way they pack it ensures that the noodles and other ingredients dont get oversaturated with broth. The only reason this is a four-star rating and not five is that I think $14 is just a bit too high for a bowl of ramen. But that doesnt stop me from ordering it!

This is a great place for Sushi. I have been going here for exactly 10 years when Mr. Ken used to own it. Now Mr. Lee does a good job to the point I cant notice a difference except for not seeing the other owners. I love the waitress too, she actually was at the other Sushi restaurant in Joliet when I went there with my cousin and she remembered me at this one when she came here a few years ago and has been here ever since. Superb! Now I want sushi!

Friendly people. Great selection of menu items from appetizers to ramen to sushi. My wife wanted Ramen and I could only find this place in Naperville so we went. What a nice surprise. Both the Tonkatsu Miso and the curry ramen were delicious. I also had the roll combo and got a spicey salmon roll; which was also delicious. Fast service, attentive and very appreciative to see you. Even if you havent been in before. I cant wait to go back.

Im a regular customer of the Yamado Sushi restaurant and Ive enjoyed their food for last 2 years. Their sushi has always been fresh and tasty and it kept making me go back for more! Ms.Lee and the staff always tries hard to give the best service and its kept me as a regular customer for the last 2 years. The food is cheap and their chefs special rolls are a must-try menu. They never disappoint me!

Im only visiting Woodridge for a week for vacation and Yamado has really outdone themselves when it came down to their tonkotsu ramen. It was very delicious in comparison to another restaurant I tried in downtown Chicago. The restaurant was very quiet which was surprising considering the fact that their ramen is very delicious. Come to this restaurant now! I highly recommend it!

Best sushi in naperville. We have tried all the sushi places in the area, and this continues to be our favorite. Great service, good prices and delicious fish. The current owner really knows what she is doing. Her sushi chef is great. Way better than every one in downtown Naperville.

Very good ramen! I was pleasantly surprised. However, they should offer smaller portions, they are all HUGE! I couldnt finish it. And its not a matter of paying less for a smaller portion, its more a matter of not throwing out food :). Anyway, Ill definitely return!
