I have been shopping at Ultra for many years and I have watched the store, service, prices and attitudes change and I must say, in several cases, the changes have not been for the better... Store-I am very excited that the store has been renovated, things are much brighter and the veggies/fruits are much fresher however, at times, when I encounter the new management/administration, their attitudes REALLY SUCK! They arent friendly and act as though Im a bother, even when Im simply speaking or asking how their day has been. Service/attitudes- I love the idea that you have hired the young people and some of them are eager to have the opportunity to experience a good job BUT there are others who are rude...extremely rude, ignorant, block the doorways just hanging out and talking among themselves, ARE NOT FRIENDLY and REFUSE TO LISTEN WHEN I ASK THEM NOT TO PLACE MEAT/POULTRY IN BAGS (which I bring in myself) WITH MY FRESH VEGETABLES or NOT TO PLACE MY BREAD AND EGGS IN A BAG WITH POTATOES OR ONIONS!!! And when I request to bag my own items, they act as though I have insulted them!!! I also find the young men who gather the carts from the parking lot to be quite offensive with their terrible conversations,cursing & vulgar language. Prices- Things have gotten completely out of hand as far as pricing with you guys, Ulltra used to be so very reasonably priced but not anymore and the monthly coupon booklet, which doesnt come regularly, is a help with savings BUT, you are so very inconsistent with sending them out! I am also very frustrated with being bombarded by the "panhandlers" in the parking lot before I can get out of my car and into the store as well as literally, greeting me before Im out of the doors of the store requesting "very specific" things...No longer "can you help me with whatever you have" but now "Id like for you to purchase Kennys Ribs or pay the $35 dollars for myself and my wife to have a hotel room right down the street...Asking if I have an old car that I can give etc...And when I suggested, I could prepare some food for them (husband and wife) at my church which is right down the street (Im over the community pantry), I was told "we dont eat out of peoples kitchens, just pay for us some food at a restaurant if you want to help us"

I like my Ultra store in Lansing IL because of good prices that can be found after looking at the sales flyer or just taking time to shop. sometimes prices seem to be a little high on some merchandise but thats true in all groceries week by week. To me quality is good on produce and decent freshness on meats. If I ever have a problem, I can return it no problems.All in all I appreciate their willingness to modernize and upgrade the store at that location. Its my home store.

This store is horrible. The quality of meats and produce is poor and the shelves are always empty no matter what time of day you visit the store. This use to be an excellent store to shop however, over the years as the community has changed so has the attitude of the manage at this ultra foods location. This is not a store that I spend my hard earned money at. The store is not clean and the attitude of the management staff is I dont care I only work here.

I dont like ultra I used to work there and the butchers are nasty and change the dates to the meat or they would throw seasoning on meant that is about to expire. The employees ways have attitude problems and ever since they remodeled the store I can never find nothing.

This store is badly in need of new management; the employees are indifferent and act annoyed whenever asked for some type of service. The checkout line are long and more often than not there are not enough cashiers on duty to to move the lines along.

The bathroom is not so clean and I saw one of the employees not washing there hands after using the bathroom all she did was pat her hair and walked out that was very unsanitary
