I just moved here in the area and was searching for some good Chinese food. I asked my new neighbor and he recommended that there is a great place just around the corner. So i gave the place a shot and man, had i gave my neighbor a man hug if it wasnt weird! This place might seem small and the decor inside isnt like super modern but that goes to all little carry out restaurants that i had been to. Well to me the decor doesnt really matter as long as its clean and you dont see critters or anything running around... Anyways, what i am trying to say is people normally go there for the FOOD! I went there for a quick ease of my Chinese craving and I was blown away! I dont know what they put in their sauces for their General Tso Chicken but it was really flavorful and good. I also had their Beef Fried Rice which was rich in flavor as well. The Egg Roll was the best ones I have ever had! Well I take that back about the Egg Roll, it wasnt the best one I had but it was good enough to be one of the best ones. On my way out, the young gentleman told me about their great deals during lunch time for $5.95 and I will definitely come back to give the rest of the menu a try.

This is our 1st Visit to Joliet China Kitchen. We placed an order over the phone. Here are the results: 1. The Beef w/gravy and chopped green onions over White rice was cooked damn near to perfection. Excellent. 2. The Wonton Soup is nearly authentic looking & made fresh and is the best weve had in Joliet. We could still taste the soup 15 minutes after eating it... Great flavor that lasts! The Wontons were big and very well put together. 3. The Egg Rolls were cooked to perfection and are Excellent and fresh! 4. The Service was Fast and courteous. Our order was ready at the stated time. 5. They are not shy about inserting multiple napkins; a fork and spoon and several packets each of sweet & sour sauce & soy sauce. 6. Fortune cookie was inserted and was also fresh. 7. The lady that answered the phone was very knowledgeable; explained everything in detail and repeated our order to guarantee no mistakes. This place is Excellent in our opinion.

I had a HORRIBLE experience!!! My order was wrong, I had it delivered. They had to bring me the correct item. The fried wings had so much battery and it was Bland, also my husband ordered shrimp lo mein had 3 shrimp and tasted like a foot! Since my order was wrong, they never offered anything for the inconvenience, when I made them aware of the quality of the meal I was laughed at and mocked. The person who answered the phone said it wasnt her problem. They dont stand behind their product. I believe they are selling "funny meat"!!! I would advise NEVER eat at this establishment.

I gave it a one star since this is my first time here. I will see how it taste then rate it again. Im from the city and in the city theres a Chinese restaurant thats great and their portions and container sizes are bigger and reasonable. I live in Coal City now and we have a Chinese restaurant that makes their food so yummy but their prices are ridiculous and their portions are extra small. We shall see how China kitchen is. Service was fast and staff is friendly. Kudos to the lady in front

I used to go to Chinas Kitchen when I was younger and loved it. I recently went back and ordered the General Tsos chicken and it was delicious. I asked him if it was spicy and he said yes and asked if I wanted it extra spicy, I thought that was very nice of him. I ordered a Lg and it was plenty for atleast 2 meals. Their rice was good too. I will definitely order here again and again. The service was wonderful too - very polite. The facility was very clean.

I have eatten in NYC, Philly, and San Fransicos China town and would say this has food that truely compares to the great Chinese foods I be have eatten in my wide travels..... any that does not like the food here has never eatten in good Chinese resturants... Ive visited this area many times in the last few months and each time I come back to this place.... This time I tried something new... the human fire rice.... it was wonderful

Decided to give this place a try. I got the General tsos chicken dinner and some teriyaki beef sticks. The beef sticks were extremely dry and overcooked and didnt come with any sause. The chicken was better but rather underwhelming flavor wise. I had a kashi frozen meal recently with comparable flavor. Ill give it one more try and then Ill call it quits. On the positive side the service was quick.

Yuck yuck yuck. Thats all I can really say. I have never eaten general tsos chicken that tasted like that. If you can go somewhere else. Like maybe burger king or mcdonalds. Please stay away. My first and last time eating that mess. I have eaten chinese all over the country and this was by far the WORSE I have ever put in my mouth. I wasted $17 dont waste your money also.

Go DALLAS COWBOYS!!...The fried dumplings are awesome..perfect texture...I wish they were good FOR me just like theyre good TO me...this Baytown Texan greatly appreciated the quick service and the open view into the kitchen so I can see the cook set the bowl of dumplings on fire!!...very entertaining..

Been coming here since moved into the area. Ive never had an issue with service or quality. Portions are reasonable and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good Chinese food

Ive been going here for years and cant recall a time where Ive had a problem with their food or service. My only complaint would be that some of the other local Chinese restaurants have more meatless options.
