This place is great for a family-owned-meets-fast-food vibe or a come-with-your-friends-and-get-fat-on-mountains-of-hashbrowns bonding experience. Affordable food that gives you just about what you paid for and with a multitude of options for milkshakes that are to die for. Mostly part time teen workers in from HHS, they are actually alot more polite and pleasant than that sounds. Drive through available but other than that its 100% outdoor picnic tables. In the colder months they set up walls for the few tables closest to the main building. Great place if you dont want to do McDonalds but dont have enough time for a sitdown meal.

Great nostalgic drive-in for a quick and inexpensive bite and/or some real ice cream treats. Caters well to families as well as anyone taking a break from work. Although they added a few more picnic tables, the outdoor seating is limited (and with small section of patio enclosed in winter, extremely limited.) However, not uncommon to mill around and socialize. They lost some parking due to widening of IL 47 but the adjacent side street offers space. Good daily specials and worth a visit to unwind. During the summer very popular with childrens sports teams.

The food is fine, I dont even mind waiting for it. Fresh food takes time to make-I get that, no problem. Where I do have a problem is the young ladies that are cashiers act like they are miserable, like they are doing me a favor, never had a problem until this year and after 6 times in the last 3 weeks of crappy treatment, I have had enough, I wont go back. I know its no big deal, they lose 1 regular customer it wont make a difference to them but I am tired of paying for miserable service.

Absolutely delicious. I had the pork tenderloin which was mouth watering. I also had fried mushrooms & a root beer float. It was all to die for. I usually get a Chicago dog with fries & a small chocolate & vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. All equally as good but I wanted to try something different. So went with what my favorite Uncle Vic was getting & I was not disappointed. That pork tenderloin though, its my new go to. I highly recommend it.

Love their burgers, thought Id try the pork tenderloin, bad decision. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT GET THE PORK TENDERLOIN! Its about as thin as a paper towel, its tough and you only taste breading, very nasty. If this is the best they can do theyd be better off taking it off the menu. If you want a pork tenderloin drive a little further south and go to Culvers. Everything else was good and I loved my chocolate covered frozen banana!

My wife and I stop here whenever we get up this way. Old fashioned eat-outside drive-in (though no curb service like the old days). Food is reasonably priced and tasty, though we havent sampled much on the menu beyond the hot dogs which just seem the right thing to order at a place like this. Pretty crowded on any summer night for both food and ice cream, with tons of kids and parents getting a dinner treat. Worth a stop.

I was just there 20 min ago staff was great, caring, and considerate. During the nasty downpour it was very slow for business but all four staff members worked as a team... My family of four goes there often but tonight was just me and my one daughter. I of all dropped my husbands shake to take home and they took such good care with sincerity and respect. SO DAMNED GOOD. I taught my son at a very early age that one sign of a great burger is that it runs down to your elbows. Dairy Mart burgers ALL run down to your elbows. They do have a rather extensive menu & lots of frozen treats if you arent hungry enough for an entire meal. EXTREMELY fast & very friendly service. We are repeat customers...twice a week at the least.

Im an out of towner and every time Im in the area I hit it up. Polite staff, reasonable prices, never had issues with orders. Wait times can be a bit much when theres a crowd but well worth the wait. Unlike most places, they mix in the ingredients in the shake instead of putting it on top! No massive lump of caramel, all mixed in!! Would personally recommend!

Best place for burgers in Huntley! The food is always fresh and taste excellent, so much better than McDs (no idea why anyone goes there when Dairy Mart is across the street). Love the fries and onion rings too. And the best place for ice cream as well...so creamy and delicious.

We ordered 3 orders of chicken strips and we got two. The people were not cooperating when they gave us two chicken strips and tater tots. They said they would make us another batch but charge us for it. Will not be returning for the remainder of this establishment being open.

Usually a long line during the busy times in the summer but is not a problem. Great ice cream and good food. Food is cooked to order so sometimes takes a lil longer wait. Over all a great place to stop by with the fam.

Great place for shakes, and the food is good. Quick and friendly staff will get an amazing meal in only a few short minutes. The only downside is that the prices are a little too high for me to go to the Dairy Mart often.

Love Dairy Mart! Been coming here for years. My kids love going to get their ice cream and also to try to get every car to honk their horn on the way past. So glad we have this little ice cream shop in our town!

This is an old school soft serve burger joint. Fun place, great vibe good food and prices. Outside seating only. For full effect I suggest going there in a hot rod preferably convirtable.

Love this place,grew up with upside down banana splits after Sunday dinner at grandmas. She lived in the house right behind the Dairymart.
