Service was inexcusably S L O W. Slow to take our order and ridiculously slow to bring us our food. Almost empty inside, yet, for some reason it took over 30 minutes for eggs and bacon? Bonus, food arrived lukewarm, which means it just sat there while we were waiting FOREVER for its arrival. Definitely on the expensive side. Walker brothers can charge those prices, because they are the masters of breakfast. Place is also kind of run down, tables scratched up, bench seats you can feel the springs almost coming through. Wont go again. This isnt the first review that complains about slow service so its obviously not a fluke, management should read reviews.

The food was good, but the service was not (been there four times, and had poor service each time). Our latest trip there had us wait only 5 minutes for a seat, but then 10 minutes for a server to come for our order, 20 minutes for our food (which is fine), 10 minutes after that for a coffee refill, then 15 minutes to finally deliver our check after we were done eating. We could get better food and much faster service at Egg Harbor. We dont like spending half the day to get breakfast, so well be going elsewhere from now on.

Does it even matter? Your servers are Latino, but 90% of the Clients are white, and 10% Asian and you apparently ignore your Latino clients for no reason what so ever. Dont think Im interested in knowing how good your food is anymore, thats upsetting. The name might be in English, but I bet the main language in the kitchen is Spanish. Plus, I didnt know you needed to be a certain color of skin, ethnicity or race if I wanted to eat somewhere, as long as Im paying you. Ethnocentric people.

I love going to breakfast places in the Chicago burbs and I think Apple Villa has the best food. My favorite is the "south of the border" omelette. The salsa provided with it is just outstanding. The "baked apple villa pancake" is also great as are the chocolate chip pancakes. And the people who work there are some of the nicest and most fun you will meet, providing very good service :)

My husband and I love this place! The service has always been outstanding and the food is great, especially their bacon. The portion sizes are huge, I especially love their crepes with cherry sauce. Coffee is served with real cream. I dont recall a time weve ever had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. This will be one place well really miss when we move out of Chicago.

This place is awesome for breakfast (and lunch). The atmosphere is bright with natural light and a friendly staff. The ingredients are top quality, everything from Gourmet Angus burgers to homemade blueberry sauce for the pancakes. It can get busy and a little slow (thats the only reason for the 4 stars) so get there early or a little after the rush.

Service here was unpleasant at best (the name ill keep to myself). My son and I were told that we have to leave after been given our food for less than 5 minutes because they needed to "lock the door". If that were the case then why did they allow us to sit down in the restaurant in the first place?

The signature pancake was worth the wait but probably have them start it before you come, or else your friends will be hopped up on coffee before its done since it can be a 45 min wait cause its baked. Really nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The French toast is also pretty good.

$3.00 for bad ,bad coffee . the waiter had his thumb on my plate .,asked to have my food sent back and warmed upped. paid allot of money for this service. one of the people with us said it was the water in the coffee. i have never had coffee this bad.can i give them a _ star?

Decor is great. They have booths and tables. Getting a seat by the window brightens your day. I like the fact that I can see the street while having breakfast. Decor is nice. Food is great too. Server was very accommodating to all my numerous requests. Will return shortly :)

My first time there meeting a friend on December 30th . The service from ... forgot her name. ..Cheryl? ... was great. We werent rushed even though we sat for a while catching up. Our food was served promptly and was delicious. Will definitely find my way back there!

I only wished I lived closer to Apple Villa. Its a great place. Clean, decor is very appealing. The food is very tasty. The veggies they use are actually fresh. The ham is right off the bone. Delicious. I definitely would recommend to all.

We go here after church sometimes to get the best pancakes in town.. My family enjoys the good food and good atmosphere. The syrup is even great. We never leave here disappointed in all the time we have went here as a family.

This was my first visit to this location, great restaurant. It was busy but the wait wasnt to bad. Food was good as usual. They offer a chia tea latte which was nice but it could have used more spice. Wait staff was great.

They dont tell you this but if you plan on ordering the baked apple pancakes make sure to order it as soon as you walk in because it takes 40 min. Disappointed no one told me.
