The food from this place has been nothing but amazing. My wife and I dine in often and have tried a majority of the menu. They are a full service bakery (with a huge display case) and their brownies are to die for. The staff is super friendly and all their German food is home cooked fresh. We used them for catering an event with brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, the most delicious sauerkraut, and the best potato salad Ive ever had. It was a huge hit. The pricing was really reasonable. They supplied all the condiments as well as plating and utensils. Thank you Old Salem Cafe for an awesome and easy experience. Highly Recommend!

Ive been going to olde salem cafe for a year now and watched how its grown from a one small (2 tables) room into a 2 (big dining room) with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service:-) the food is delicious as well as Renatas home baked goods! Brownies,cakes,cookies,strudel...Ive had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I order all my baked goods from Renata and am very happy to have found this lil "diamond in the rough" Go, you will not be disappointed♡

Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are super friendly, the portions are big, and the food is the best. Everything is cooked fresh in house which might be the only negative of this place. From time to time they are out of something on the menu because they have not had a chance to cook more. But everything on the menu is great, and you can tell the care and love they put into cooking the food. I could not recommend this place enough.

Old Salem Cafe was one of the food vendors at the Global Arts Fair in Bartlett this weekend. I did not try everything on the menu, but the pretzel bun cheeseburger I purchased was tossed in the trash after two bites. UTTERLY AWFUL.

It is a delight eating the brownies,cheese cakes and cookies that are being made here.And what is made on the stove,goulash with spaetzle ,schnitzle etc is simple delicious
