From start to finish - not good. Mixed up numbers for seating had to get owner/mgr to seat us after almost 20 min. wait holding a baby. After seating no highchair, asked first busboy.. ignored. 2ND young man finally came thru with highchair. Waitress next to us chastised 2 tables of customers for bothering her when she was "busy" "had things to do". Our waitress arrived ..let me take your order. Asked for cup of coffee.. let me have your order. Not ready. Got 1 cup of coffee .. no refill. Asked for a pancake for toddler, was asked about item on childrens menu which I never received so I asked for 1 pancake. Big productions & special order. When the helpful busboy hunted down waitress so we could order she was completely unconcerned the food was terrible. Cream of chicken soup was watered down cream & rice, no chicken. Steak sandwich arrived on 100% soaked bread with 15 half cooked fries for $14. And an untoaster panini. When I complained to waitress I was told "she doesnt work sundays, its family day & she has 10 grandkids" Friendly banter it was but didnt address issue with food. Spoke to owner/manager was charged full price for uneaten food & told "its a shame". SHAME ON YOU! I will NEVER return.

This is a stereo typical Greek restaurant with so very many different choices. The daily specials list is always a great place to look for an entree. If not ordering a breakfast, "served all day", i usually get a complete dinner which includes a premium desert from the glass case at the entrance. The fresh pies and cakes are sliced generously. I never try to stuff myself because I know Im bringing some home. Plus my desert is always to go. The food is above average and this place does a great business with locals. Expect it to be busy at lunch, dinner, and weekends during breakfast. I will regularly pick-up two large Cream of Chicken soups with a bag of rolls and butter on cold winter weekends (Sunday). Comfort food is something done very well here. Some of us are looking for something unpretentious, and in generous portion. This is it. Also, the staff here is professional to say the very least. Most of the wait staff here has been here for a long time. Everyone is pleasant, happy to see you and going to give the best possible dining experience. This is a great place to show up at when you just cant make up your mind. Oh, the choices! and take some Coconut Cream Pie home for later.

Absolutely appalled. Been coming here for years and have never been so dissatisfied by their service as i have been my last 3 visits. This last visit our Waitress took 15 minutes to even notice wed been sat at one of her tables. Sent our appetizers back because potato skins were burnt. We had salads and i noticied the dressing was luke warm. Waitress was apologetic but very scatterbrained kept forgetting us. We just ended up paying for our drinks and leaving with no dinner and within an hour I was sick to my stomach 3 times. Im convinced the dressing had been left out too long . Manager is NEVER accommodating when things go wrong. Stone faced and unapologetic. Last time they served my daughter a raw hamburger. Sent it back and it came back clearly microwaved with the same bun and scalding and STILL BLOODY. Also the waitress nearly spilled an entire bowl of hot soup onto my aunt because she was in a hurry to serve us. Got all the drinks wrong . No apologies from the manager when the burger was sent back he just dumped the nuked burger on the table and walked away. Also place has been " redone " with ikea quality furniture and tables that wobble incessantly. Will never come again.

The food at Omegas is great. Portions are large enough for 2 people. The only problem is that it is in Schaumburg and the village charges an extra 1.5%-2% tax for prepared food. Most people do not realize it, we just pay the bill without questioning why is the tax so high. People who eat at any resturant or use anyof the enterainment in Schaumberg or Hanover Park pay an additional 1.5-2% enterainment tax that is added to the regular 10.25% tax resulting in a tax of 11.75-12.25%. This can really increase your bill. We still eat their, because of the portion sizes we save because we can order 1 meal and share it. Make your decision, remember the food and service is great.

They have gone downhill. We ordered a Russian Ruben with extra horseradish sauce and American cheese and a salad with French and garlic dressing to go. Got home and no garlic dressing no horseradish sauce and Swiss cheese. Called them and they said come back well remake it. Half hour drive with construction. Get home no garlic dressing no extra horseradish dip and the sandwich is a regular Ruben. After eating there twice a week for years not going back. Also we were charged extra for the second salad dressing and extra horseradish. Very disappointing for these seniors.

We have been going there for years well today we went and now we are Seniors so I asked if they have a Senior menu, The waitress was new so she had to ask: she came back and said they have a 10 percent discount at 2 pm it was 1:45 pm then so we ordered and ate then went to pay by now it was 2:30 pm so I asked if I could get a Senior discount and the cashier got hateful and said she do it this time but next time be here at 2 pm then she kept repeating her self over and over. Thats my last time there besides other restaurants have Senior menus that are on all day.

Great value lunch was fantastic the fried perch a nice light batter the biscuits and gravy were perfectly done. The cream of broccoli soup was also very good. Fresh-made bread in their bread basket. So many wonderful desserts to choose from it was hard to make a decision. There wait staff is very friendly and get your order right the first time. All the food was cooked perfectly and all at a very reasonable rate. Highly recommended from this customer

Im sitting here in the restaurant and they have a women on her second day working breakfast ordered a apple pancake supposed to be 30 minutes and its an hour later no food. Only when I ask about does it show up but my friends food doesnt come for another 5 minutes. Waitress had a piss poor attitude throwing down napkins and being argumentive with me. Really thats how you treat a paying a customer we will never be back.

Love this place, its always packed on Saturday, and Sunday. Waiters are super friendly and always helpful, portions are huge, and everything Ive tried has been good, and inexpensive. Ive been here over 30 times and never had a bad experience, except from some dirty silverware, but just ask for some other ones and the waiter will personally wash them herself. I recommend the cream of chicken soup best soup Ive ever had.

Usually very busy, but if youre by yourself, try sitting at the counter. Its a quicker picker upper, meaning you get seated faster, and waited on faster. The Matzo ball soup and French Onion soup were my favorites, but some of the special concoctions they come with are not. Stick with what you know,or ask one of the friendly waitresses-theyll usually steer you right.
