The Hooters Restaurant in Fairview Heights has set a new low, and after reaching rock bottom, has begun to dig. How hard is it to cook an unbreaded, well done chicken wing? Apparently for the kitchen staff at the Fairview Heights Hooters, its an insurmountable task. For the third time in as many visits, they have failed to cook my requested dish of chicken wings the way I requested them to be cooked. One would think that Hooters could manage to cook an order of their SIGNATURE DISH properly, but that would not be the case. Each time I have visited Hooters, I have ordered the same thing--unbreaded well-done wings. Each time the same thing has happened--the first order of wings (after a 20 minute wait) comes out with breading, and then the second time (after sending the first order back because I ordered them naked since I dont like greasy fried breading) after I make the identical order, I receive unbreaded and UNDERCOOKED wings. Each time I waited FORTY MINUTES and left without getting anything to eat. I cannot put into words how incompetent the waitstaff or the kitchen or both has to be in order to screw up the IDENTICAL order TWICE IN A ROW on the same visit and have this happen on THREE SEPARATE VISITS IN A ROW. I have never seen such incompetence at any restaurant IN MY LIFE and for this to happen REPEATEDLY on THREE SEPARATE VISITS is simply beyond the pale. Chicken wings are Hooters SIGNATURE DISH. If they can do nothing else, they SHOULD be able to manage to cook a batch of unbreaded well-done wings yet they have failed to do this SIX CONSECUTIVE TIMES. Its not a complicated thing and if they cant master something this simple, then they should really close the restaurant and try something they could succeed at doing--such as playing with their lower lips or walking and chewing gum at the same time. I will NEVER go back to Hooters again--I dont know if their wings are good or bad because Ive never gotten to eat any of them. So, to the siliconed and nubile waitstaff I offer this advice: Write down the order and to the imbecile in the do-rag I advise him to READ the order. This could possibly result in my actually getting something to eat although Im not holding my breath.

My last trip to this Hooters location was a DISASTER!!! The waitresses ganged up on me and my boyfriend at the time when we tipped the waitress who waited on our table instead of the one who was apparently assigned to us that we only saw once, at the beginning of our meal, then she disappeared so we assumed she was off work and no longer on the premises. We honestly didnt skip on tipping her intentionally, we just left our tip and the waitress who we saw for the past hour and a half picked it up, as expected. Our original waitress who we had not seen in over an hour and a half suddenly appears from the restroom hysterically crying. She and 3 other waitresses are now screaming at us while were completely confused and appalled about what is happening. The manager came out to stop the mess but the girls were being absolutely insane, crying and screaming at us from across the restaurant, stating that we just wanted free food and were calling us assholes and jerks, you name it they said it! We refused to get free food because the food was not the problem. We were absolutely HUMILIATED!!! We paid the manager for our meal and left quickly. Other tables throughout the whole restaurant left at the same time because of this disasterous scene these waitresses were making and the manager kept apologizing to everyone in the restaurant about the whole thing. Apparently our waitress was going through a breakup and was crying for 2 hours in the bathroom. This was like something you see in a movie, Im sure you dont believe me but this seriously happened at the Hooters in Fairview Heights, IL. It was absurd and I will NEVER go back, especially judging by the rest of the reviews on multiple websites! In my opinion, I recommend Jeffersons (Belleville and Mascoutah) for great service and wings every time and I consider myself a wings connoisseur.

We have always loved Hooters, but over the last couple years, it has went down hill. Tonight was a disaster, My son spilled a drink ( and yes I know they are waitresses not maids) but we were in the floor cleaning up the mess with paper towels , and our waitress walked by twice, didnt ask any questions, and did not even offer my son another soda, I had to ask. Another issue was I ordered a drink , the glass had a lipstick mark on the rim , I asked for a different drink and I Watched the bartender pour my drink in another glass, I asked my waitress, did she really pour my drink from a dirty glass into a different one, she stated I dont know , I didnt see it, Well she did see it, she was standing right in front of her. The bartender was doing shots with the customers ( 2 younger gentlemen at the bar ) and made the comment " my drinking buddy wont do shots with me tonight" ( as she pointed to the blonde waitress ) my husband heard this as he was walking by to take our son to the bathroom. the table beside us got their salad taken off because lettuce was brown and also the drinks were wrong and etc.... Also the bathrooms were a disaster, dirty and there were a lot of waitresses on their phones in the bathroom and also at the table by the bathroom, As stated before , we have always loved going to hooters, But our last couple trips have been horrible, I feel they have let the standards slip and are giving poor service / food.

Tonight I came to hooters to eat after a bad day at my own restaurant knowing I love the food here.. our sever India was a doll great server to say.. I use to work for hooters myself back in the day when was it okay for servers to sit at a table in uniform drinking and eating also sit at the bar and bs and sit on there phones in front of customers all around.. I would have been fired in a heart beat if I did that or better yet if my servers did that at my resturant they would of been gone.. the managers walk around like they had no care in the world.. a server walk past us and talk about how drunk she was why still in uniform.. everytime I visit your location in fairview its been super unprofessional to see so many problems with this location and its sad.. your female manager is clicky with those girls.. The only 2 I saw actually doing work is the blonde with the glasses and India.. your cooks didnt even make our food and sent our server out saying our food wasnt ready after 45mins of waiting seriously.. its saturday good luck you guys need help..

Let me start by saying we are regulars or were until now. We take our family here to eat we liked it so much. I have 5 kids and generally tip over the top for good service and the fact the kids can be a bit messy. Now Insert a horrible waitress named Taylor. We got our drinks and ordered and it was like she disappeared. We waited 50 min on a easy night. The restaurant was only half full. At this point Taylor had spent 28 min talking with one table with while sitting. in a chair. Meanwhile her manager was bussing her tables. Now 1hr 15 min later the food comes out. My 18 month old is over it (I dont even wait for a 1 hour for a $80 steak plate in StL.) I had to leave the restaurant leaving my other kids and wife to eat without us. To top it off the manager says oh I can give 10% off really I get a better military discount. And we asked to have the bs burger I ordered and didnt get to eat removed and they wouldnt. I will not ever return to this location.
