Very disappointed. Service was good. Food was acceptable. Ill explain why I will not go back there. I ordered $29.99 seafood pasta dish. Looked great, tasted OK. Took the left over home. Next day as I was eating it for lunch, I found a piece of plastic wrapper inside my food. I immediately took a picture and called the restaurant to inform them. The lady who answered the phone asked me to text her the photo so she can show it to her owner and he will call me. NEVER called me to apologize. I didnt call to get my money back. Just wanted to let them know thats all. I expected the owner to call me and at least apologize. I gave them few days, but never contacted me regarding the issue. Bad business right there. Also, we felt rushed to leave that night with my husband and my kids. The guy was cleaning our table while we were still eating, asking if we were still working on our food. This place needs a big renovation also. Save your money. I rather eat at Maggianos. First and last time to this place. Big disappointment.

I love this place, I have been eating here for 4 years! The staff is very friendly and the food is always fantastic and homemade. The portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. They always have new dishes each week so theres always something new to try! One week they had the best Chilean Sea Bass with garlic risotto, ever! And for the holidays Pumpkin Ravioli, so cinnamony and buttery, just melts in your mouth! Ive always received speedy service. Id heard some say the service is slow, which Id have to say I never have seen unless there were large tables of high maintenance customers. Being in the North Shore, there are usually pretty demanding customers here and everywhere near here, so theres really no way to avoid them.

We must have hit a bad night... Most of our dishes came out luke warm, chicken vesuvio was served without the potatoes even though the menu confirmed them. When we mentioned it to the wait staff they looked at us like we were crazy... Who serves chicken vesuvio without the potatoes?! The pasta side dishes were mostly wrong or were not provided. A couple in our party have visited before and said the food was good in the past so something was clearly off during our visit. We did let the manager know and they provided a gift card as compensation which was a nice gesture.

Had got rave reviews and decided to travel 10 miles from the hotel to give it a try. It really wasnt worth it. They took 15 minutes just to approach me for my order and in the meantime brought someone elses food to me twice. The appetizer came after 15 minutes and the main course (Pesto Chicken Pasta) took forever. Had to leave the pasta unfiinished because the chicken just seemed undercooked and frozen. The hostess was really nice and so was the delightful setting, but thats about what was plesant about my experience. I wouldnt go there to give it a second try.

I was really shocked after hearing such great reviews of this place. Horribly undercooked mussels. Soup that must have been taken from a cheap can. Expired beer. And the entrees all taste as if they are kept frozen, almost like cafeteria food. It has that taste in which you know the kitchen must be a nightmare. Everyone in my party felt pretty bad afterwards. It seems to be crawling with regulars, but if you are someone that is in any way a foodie, you are better off going to a fast food joint. Where is the Italian in the Italian Kitchen?

I love this place. Its not "fancy pants", but a real Italian family restaurant now in the second generation. Great menu always includes fresh fish and seafood on interesting daily specials and nicely sauced chicken, veal, pork and lamb. Home made soups. Very reasonable wine selection. (Order a liter of the house wine if like us you often find a bottle one glass short!) Say hello to Emerald and Johnny. They run a great little place. DavidZ

I got the buffet special the lady made it sound like I had to order a soup to get the buffet special after I ordered I found out that wasnt true I didnt say anything about it but its not right otherwise I would have gave him 5 stars the food was always excellent every time I was there
