A superb dining experience at prices that are not over the top. The head chef is part owner. Outstanding, and non "run of the mill" offerings make up the largest part of their diverse menu. Everything is prepared to order. No pre- cooking here. If you are a Calamari lover, theirs is the best I have had in the suburban area. Delicate and buttery. I can not say that I have ever had a disappointing experiencing in all of the years we have been coming here. Wonderful and attentive service. Facilities for large parties. An array of ever changing home made deserts. They also have a sister location called "BOBBYS" in Deerfield. Havent been there but I am confident that the same quality standards apply. Menu is largely similar with a different spin on lunch offerings. This is our nearby "special occasion" destination. I hope it will be yours.

This has to be the best dining experience in all of Chicagoland. As a regular we are treated with exceptional service. First time visitors have the same opinion as well. The food is cooked with culinary perfection. The restaurant has private section on the first floor and 2nd floor. The ambiance is that of a rustic winery. The servers are excellent. A loaf of bread is delivered with their custom garlic sauce as you site down. I highly recommend the Sea Bass with Asparagus and Sun Dried Tomatoes. The best server in the restaurant is Conrad AKA "Coronado" or his side kick Yule. The owner is always around greeting his customers. I highly recommend this. Make reservations for dinner because they are packed every night.

This place is a favorite of ours! Amazing food, amazing wine, and spectacular service! They always make you feel like a VIP. Service is slow in the best way possible. They really want you to enjoy your meal and the experience. If you want to rush in and out for a quick meal, this is not the place for you. If you appreciate an artfully prepared meal with a fine glass of wine, then do not pass up Cafe Lucci. This is quite possibly the best restaurant in the north suburbs for those that appreciate great food! Heres a tip, ask for Conrado as your server. He is not only amazing but his knowledge of wine will blow you away!

This is a great place. Service is good, food is always very good, wine selection is nice and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like the wait staff was right there when you needed them and otherwise out of the way. Ive been here for both corporate events and family meals and always left satisfied. For a twist, dont look at the menu and just try telling Bobby to make you up something nice. Ive always been impressed with what they can pull together on a whim like that. Enjoy!

Had dinner there last night for a friends birthday.. We were wary to go back because a girl in our group had bad service there last time (wrong order then cold food followed by uncooked food... and no apology) Sad to say, it happened again. The venue is quaint but charming and the wine is very reasonably priced, however food and service is most important to me and I have to say they did not deliver. Did I mention it was restaurant week?

Great food, great service every time we go. We arent "big spenders" or fancy eaters. But they make you feel special, owner comes around and says hello and thanks you, makes sure everything is okay. Fettuccini Alfredo is amazing and you can usually get a table short notice on the weekends. Reasonable, under $50 for for 2, add wine and ur in at $75 + tip tops.

A very dear friend of mine took me here about 8 months ago...and I have been back repeatedly! Some of the best Italian food I have ever had! Reminds me of my trip to Italy. The wine is wonderful and they have some of the most attentively warm and inviting servers it has been my pleasure to encounter.

Great ambience, great service, mediocre food. Ordered the risotto toscana. The menu says it has prosciutto di Parma. What was that, bits of salami substituted for prosciutto? Definitely not DOP protected prosciutto di Parma. Not what I paid for.

This is one of the best Italian food places in the Chicago land area. It has great management, staff, and the food is always amazing. They also have a great wine collection that is always being added too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food tastes OK, but gives you gas and diarrhea. Service is terrible and the staff arrogant. It makes for a bad dinner experience. There are many places in Chicago where you can have a much better dinner experience.

Too expensive! Too crowded! Valet Parking! But I love the wine selection, and everything iz good to eat (if you can read the menu). Service aint bad either. But why would it be? They just want your money! Bon apetite

Love, love this place! Exceptional food quality and service. Classic decor - great for business, friends, romantic twosome. Had a delightful lunch with my husband - and he raved about the food quality also.

Been here many times. Fish dishes are very good, pasta also very good. More like a traditional Italian restaurant with a neighborhood feel. Too bad its affiliate Bobbys of Deerfield is not as good.

Nothing to really whine and complain about, but I did think though it is between 3 and 4 stars overall-slightly better than average. It is not a head above other 4+ establishments.

Cafe Lucci is not fancy, but I dont go to restaurants for fancy. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is real Italian. I think you will like Cafe Lucci.

The food was very good, but you pay for it. Service was also very good as well as the decor. The only downside is it was very noisy once it started to fill up.
