I was hoping this place was going to be my new regular place. Ive had a few decent meals here, a couple that were just OK, however after the last time, I wont be back. Bartender was very kind, however service was horrible, and food was burnt to a crisp. I got my drink, and then ordered food. About 10 minutes after I finished my drink, the bartender just decided to take a break without warning. Just left for about 10 minutes. During that time an older guy who looked like he could have been the manager or owner, filled in for her(I think), but he barely lifted a finger. Still my drink sat empty. I kept doing the usual making eye contact...My empty drink sat now 20 minutes. Still no food. Some new patrons walked in the bar...The older guy walked right past me as if my empty glass was invisible and served the guys that walked in. Fast forward another 10mins and the bartender, and a waitress with our food emerges all at once. Bartender waits a few minutes and finally comes over and asks if we needed anything....Yes some silverware would be nice so I can actually eat like a civilized person. As would another drink. Finally on a night that wasnt particularly busy at all, I bite into my food. The chicken was charred to the point where the outside of it tasted like old coals. The burger that was ordered "medium" by my gf was so well done it was on the verge of becoming beef jerky.

A great place to go in the heart of Crystal Lake. This used to be the old Brink Street and was bought and remodeled. The food is great, they are rated best burger and the pizza is very good also. There is an upstairs that is great for private parties. The servers are friendly, service is fast and the food is not typical bar food. The burgers are huge and good quality, they offer brisket and pulled pork among other savory dishes. Drinks are generous and priced average. There are always daily specials and there are video slots. Plenty of tvs line the walls so you never have a problem watching your favorite game. Highly Recommend

Walked into this place having heard some pretty amazing things about their Friday night clam chowder. As I sat down and was greeted by their friendly staff, I came to the realization that they literally charge $6.00 per bowl of clam chowder. Although it has some pretty good distinctive flavors. Being a conscientious frugal minded working man, im literally going to walk out of this place on an empty stomach. I might have been better off going to Meijer and investing on a couple cans of Campbells. Harsh yet real.

I have been here a few times and was happy with the food and service... But this last time, my last time going here, didnt go so well. I had the fish tacos, and they were dry, my friend had a burger with a fried egg and totts. The burger was under cooked and under seasoned and the large plate was near empty... My friend asked for more totts and they told him you have 14 and can order more for an additional charge... We were like wow... Do they count the French fries too!?

Food is VERY good here for a small local bar & grill. We have been surprised both times weve been there with the quality of food. Friendly staff and a nice, warm, local atmosphere make this a nice place to hang out. I removed a star because when we were there, the music that was playing was pretty vulgar. Im not that sensitive, but it was somewhat distracting. If they want to target this to families at all...that cant happen.

Wanted to love this place. However after multiple weeks of being our regular place they have proven they can not handle a group of 5+. Most staff is great and food is excellent when correctly prepared. We have referred dozens of people, and will miss this place. Too many options in the area to gamble on having a good experience here.

Food was very good. Bartender was very friendly and service was good. She was the only one making drinks for all the people and a party upstairs and she was doing great. Even bought us a round because we were waiting but not very long. Dont live in the area but would definitely come back again if we are back in the area.

Food was good, however there is a seasoned waitress there who lost my respect after she called her colleague dumber than a pile of rocks. She had a potty mouth and talked that way openly to everyone. I do not deal with that, so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The menu is overly complex and I havent been impressed with anything Ive eaten here since they changed names/owners(?). The atmosphere is pretty quiet and usually a few locals are at the bar sipping PBR or Old Style. Bartenders seem friendly, albeit bored.
