Started off nice the host was amazing we felt under dressed bc we had been working all day, and were from out of town so she accommodated us and sat us in the bar 25+ minutes went by we ordered our drinks, never received them, we were waiting to order food. I watched the male bartender make drinks and a female bartender come back asking if he had everything under control he said yep, we were still waiting for our drinks, she just stood around. Our poor waitress said I put a ticket in 20 minutes ago. I know she did bc 1 we sat so close we saw, and 2 Ive been in the business. I was sadly disgusted, no apologies, except from the host. We walked out, they didnt even come to apologize about a delay on our drinks or anything, they just let us sit there in the bar watching them. That is horrible customer service. Thankfully we didnt waste our money or time there. Went to the next restaurant, amazing customer service, that you all should take notes from except your hostess, and left them the 30% we always do, bc we know the business and appreciate good service, food, and ambiance. Which all was lacking at the Lakeview Grille yesterday.

I dont know how long this place has been here, but I have never noticed it before in all the times Ive been to Legends, next door. In fact, this particular night, we were meeting an out-of-town family member for dinner, and we were going to meet at Legends, but all of their tables were filled, so we decided to try out Lakeview Grille instead. Best part about it was that were happened to stop in on a Thursday and Thursday night is Prime Rib night. So thats what my wife and I had, and it was delicious. We also saw an old neighbor friend of our daughters, so we got to say hi. She was there with her husband. They live nearby and this is their favorite restaurant. Now I know why. The restaurant has a very distinct atmosphere. It sports a huge window overlooking a pine tree outside that they currently have decorated as a Christmas tree. A bar sits to the side of the main dining room, separated by a wall with windows, so you can look inside, but you cant really hear much sound coming from the bar. Overall an excellent dining experience. We will definitely be going back.

I am amaized at all the positive reviews. The resturant is beutifull, setting is perfect...thats about where the positives drop off. Horribly slow service, we waited for what seemed eternity to order our appetizer and atleast another 20 minutes for entree. Our waitress seemed horribly flustured and rushed dispite the fact that the place was barely occupied. Calamari was VERY greasy, litterally puddles covering the entire plate. My wife ordered a half slab of ribs that tasted like it had been made several days ago and just heated up in the microwave. I ordered "The view" which I would assume was their signature dish. Supposably two 4oz filet mignons in a wine reduction. I recieved what looked and tasted just like salsbury steak. I am horribly disapointed with this resturant especially after spending close to $80 Do yourself a favor and go to blackstone bar and grill near by.

Last night was our first and last time eating at this establishment. Our server was less than adequate. When I grabbed the drink menu that is left on the table it was extremely sticky and clearly evident it has never been cleaned from the hundreds of people that handle those menus. I should have went with my first instinct to just go to another establishment to eat but decided to give this place a fair chance. I ordered the Steak Alfredo and it was more like Alfredo soup. Apparently they didnt get the memo that Alfredo is a creamy sauce. When our server asked how it was, I replied "less than adequate". As I went to elaborate, she said ok and walked away with no resolution or apologies offered. Anyone with standards of their eating experience should not go here. You will be extremely disappointed.

Celiacs and gluten-intolerant people, rejoice! This is a place where despite the lack of gluten-free menu, the servers are more than happy to help you enjoy the offerings of the Lakeview Grille. Not only that, they are knowledgeable and will double-check with the chef to ensure your safety. You wont be treated like one of those people. The food is exceptional, reasonably priced, and the view of the lake is lovely, especially around sunset. Also, if you get a chance to try their special BBQ nachos, do not hesitate, just order them and bask in the life-changing goodness!

We asked for window seating that was clearly available and I did point it out but the girl who seated us said "no" and seated us in the back room that had a big LOUD group. That available window seat was not used the entire time we were there and when I mentioned this to the owner all he said was "you should of asked for me." Told him that we will never go there again and he said nothing. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Apps were great. Grilled calimari and saganaki were fantastic. Drinks and entrees were wonderful. Highlight was the fish special (pecan crusted grouper). Cajun chicken pasta was also great. Steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly to order. Only two gripes: they ran out of Laphroaig scotch and the Cajun ribeye was overly seasoned. Great piece of meat cooked exactly how I wanted it.

I see no reason to eat there again. Shrimp was from frozen out of box or bag fried and tasted like it. Mushy. Fries were plenty but plenty of zero quality. The food was not the quality I expected. French onion soup with the meal but, you want $3.00 more to put on the chesse and toast it? REALLY! disappointing to say the least.

Had our wedding here this Valentines Day. Cant say enough about the staff and the food. They went out of their way to make our day special from the table set up to the service to the meals. Outstanding people and food. Perfect venue for a small, romantic wedding! Thanks to all who helped make our day so special!

BEST food Ive had in a long time. The tilapia was wonderful and the veggies were. cooked to perfection. The waitress was wonderful and the service was great! The lighting is beautiful and really sets the mood for a late-night date after a movie. This was our second time there, and they have gained a loyal customer!

Great place to eat. Lizzie was my server, great young college gal. Prime rib was awesome, fork tender. Best place to eat in the Oswego area. Service was impeccable, Ive been to 200 dollar dinner establishments and the service wasnt any better there. This place rocks. If youre in the Oswego area dine here.

The service was great, the food was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The soups were delicious and the warm freshly baked bread is a nice touch. Our waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere in the dining area was nice. We just found a great new place for our date nights!

My husband and I love Lakeview Grille. The food is great and the staff is extremely friendly. We love sitting at the bar because the bar staff is so engaging. Jimmy, the owner, is frequently getting guests which gives Lakeview a personal vibe.
