Probably one of my favorite summer spots for a beer garden brew. The Village Tap has been a long standing favorite. Sadly, I dont find myself at the Village Tap as often during the winter months but I guess I dont get out nearly as much during the cold. They close the patio roof and heat the area so it feels like inside. The laid back atmosphere and awesome, ever-changing beer list keep the Village Tap at the top of my list for a good time. I can find a nice range of draft beer on their menu. Each has a short description of what to expect. I love that places do this. I also love that I can ask about any of the brews to hear a bit more about them from the waitstaff. If they dont know more about the brew of choice, they will happily offer a sample. Some places charge for this sip but the Village Tap just wants to make sure that the one I choose is going to be on that I enjoy. Its a neighborhoody spot with super friendly waitstaff that treat you like an old friend. I do love the Village Tap!

Food is really good here. We ordered veggie burgers, hummus, and numerous other platters and all were great and very filling while also being affordable. However, the beers, while great in selection are rather pricey. A caveat to that is that I may still be used to the prices of Central Illinois. Additionally the waitress who served us our brews continually my friend and my orders wrong, even after pointing it out the first time. So, its okay. Good for a single beer, but dont increase the quantity more than that unless you want to pay through the nose.

The bar is a decent size and has a nice garden area out back. They also have a nice selection of beers for a reasonable price. I came here recently for an event, and the guy at the door directed me to the back where everyone was gathered. We had a few people who tried to speak to our group, but apparently a separate birthday party was booked in the same room. This lead to everyone shouting over each other and both events being disasters.

The Village Tap has a great rotating beer list with local craft brews, which is something that will lure me to any bar. In addition to their fantastic beer list, they also have a decent bar menu, and I always tend to order the steak nachos as they are filling and delicious! The staff is friendly and they have a great indoor/outdoor beer garden that is great to partake in year-round!

Great residential bar. Nice beer selection, good food, nice decor with plenty of seating and an awesome back patio that is good in the summer and winter season. Its family friendly and so there were several kids running about, so if you are not wanting to have a beer or two with your friend with kids around, this might not be the place for you.

The interior was really what one would espect, but do not stop and keep going to the very back. There you can experience really cool feeling while inside with no cealing over your head. The food is great and the little light around the terracy type of outdoors are beautiful. not to mention the great people working there.

Total Hidden Gem in Roscoe Village!! This place has a beer garden but is a little bit of a secret. There is a really cool old school photo booth inside too! There is a great selection of beers on tap. The best time to go is a little earlier in the evening before it gets really crowded.

Village tap has an incredible beer selection. Their beer garden is nice and the food is even good too. Their staff is really friendly. I think they figured out that we didnt get that you have to go up to a window and order your food so they offered to serve us, which I appreciated.

I brought a large group here from the Windy City Explorers walking group and we had a blast! The rear beer-garden area was a hit, as was the food and many beers on tap. Definitely a great place to go with friends. Well be back!

This bar/restaurant has a great "outdoor" beer garden (screened in in the winter with heaters--very nice). Kitchen is open late and offers tasty, typical bar food. A good place to catch up with friends any night of the week.

phenominal beer list. they also give you free tasters which is great if you are not sure what type of beer you like (me). pretty good food too. fun to sit in back which looks like wrigley field with ivy and picnic tables
