On the banks of the Red Cedar, Theres a school thats known to all... For Michigan State alums or fans that are looking for a Grand River type of bar, Tin Lizzie is your spot. Cheap drinks, bar food and good times. Detroit Tigers fans are welcome as well as the owner is a MSU alum and diehard Tiger fan (one out of two aint bad). Make sure you get the Coney Island dogs. Theyre only $3 dollars and some days you may even luck out and get a special. I recently visited Tin Lizzie for their anniversary party and everything was $1 (well drinks, beer, hot dogs). But just stopping in there any day or night to catch a game, and you wont be disappointed. For the recent grads, this will remind you exactly of your college days.

The Tin Lizzie is a Detroit sports bar tucked away in Lincoln Park, serving some great Detroit themed cuisine with a fun atmosphere. I have only come here on game days for the Red Wings and Michigan State, but it is typically very busy and full of Detroiters. The menu consists of some great Michigan classics, including Coney Dogs, Hannis, and more. The service can be slow at times, but that is to be expected at such a busy bar. This bar also conveniently serves 32oz beers for $8 with refillable mugs. Great place for the Detroit transplants to catch a Wings game!

I love you, Tin Lizzie! Always a great time for a Sparty game with great bartenders, good drinks specials...and pretty good bar food. This is my spot for football & basketball games because I love the sunny front with the open garage doors when its warm. And how can you not like free Miller High Life shot-gunning after every touchdown? GO GREEN! GO WHITE!

Friday turtle races are dumb...the only prize is a shot. The drink deal is not dumb. $20 all you can drink 5-9pm. A menu item is included. The sandwiches are like Potbelly ones but taste better. This is a Michigan bar, but they put the Blackhawks game on for me. The only downer is this is in Lincoln Park neighborhood...aka doucheville.

Fantastic Michigan bar - we came for March Madness and our server, Kami, was very kind, helpful, and attentive. Unfortunately the game didnt go quite as we hoped, but the atmosphere was great, the food and drinks were reasonably priced, and Id absolutely recommend the bar.

I love this bar because its an MSU bar, but avoid the food here. The wraps looked decent but the pizza and cheesy bread were less than ideal. With the abundance of great food in this area, grab a bite somewhere else and come here for a drink and the atmosphere.

Great spot for a Michigan transplant. Love going here to watch the WIngs games. Turtle races on Friday are a ton of fun and great deal. $20 for all you can drink, including food and betting tickets. Highly recommended.

Awesome bar! God decided that my last alcoholic beverage would be at the Tin Lizzie. It was on January 12the, 2004.... From what I remember a night of Molson Canadian and Jagermeister. Good thing Ive been sober.

The Tin Lizzie is a neighborhood bar that provided great service. They have several T Vs with all the Chicago sports on them. They offer a wide range of beers and is a great place to hang and relax.
