Every time Ive been in there the staff have been cheerful, kind, and helpful. The vibe of the place is friendly but quiet and focused; its a good place to get work done without walking into that cold collective stare you get at some places. (Probably not so good if you want to have a long, loud conversation, though.) The tables and counters are good to work at, there are plenty of outlets, and the back room has comfy sofas as another option. Note, however, that theyre cash only. Im not very picky about my coffee, but I can say that when they make a mocha theyre generous with the chocolate!

The soy latte I had was amazing. The espresso was complex and strong without being bitter. And they have almond milk as an option! The baked goods were yummy. I had a cinnamon scone that was perfect. They also offer a few great sandwich and salad selections. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. with wifi of course and lots of great seating and atmosphere for studying or working. This is a Cash Only Cafe! I learned that the hard way earlier today. Although the staff was very gracious about it.

Staff is so friendly and attentive. Their lattes are delicious, and though they only have a few food items, they are all really good and reasonably priced. By far the best coffeehouse atmosphere. Several comfy workspace areas and cozy seats for casuals hangouts. Wifi is spotty sometimes, especially during busy times, but the staff is always responsive and understanding, even offering free wifi codes in apology. A much more personal service than any Starbucks Ive ever seen!

Excellent neighborhood coffee shop. The baristas there are friendly, personable, and kind. Prices are reasonable and tax is included in prices so something that is $4 is actually $4, not $4+change. The egg wraps in the morning are tasty and made right in front of you. Plenty of space to sit with different seating arrangements. I love snagging a couch in their adjoining sitting room with my latest book and an excellent cup of chamomile for a relaxing evening.

I went here last evening for the first time during the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood Wine Stroll. What a terrific and welcoming venue! The space is comfortable, clean and inviting, with chairs to sit, tables to work at and some nice treats to enjoy. They support the community through events like this and seem like a valuable part of the neighborhood! Thanks Perfect Cup .... Ill be back with a few more friends from the Windy City Explorers group!

Cozy, chill, straightforward. They do accept credit cards now with a flat 25 cent surcharge on all transactions (no minimum purchase). If you are staying your coffee is served in a real mug and refills are free. Tax is included in all prices, you pay what you see (again, I love the straightforwardness of it all). No frills. Wifi is available with purchase, just ask for a code. Expect many people to be doing work, conversations are never too loud.

Yeah, theyll do in a pinch. Right by the Divvy station at Leland and Damen as well as the Damen Brown Line, The Perfect Cup has a primo location. But the coffee is just okay and the service is uninspired. And theyre cash only which just irks me. (There are so many ways to accept credit cards these days!) Anywho, its a fine place to stop but I think it benefits from the lack of solid coffee shops in Lincoln Square.

The Perfect Cup was my local coffee shop for about 5 years. The management and staff were always very friendly and provided excellent service. It is conveniently located by the Damen Brown Line stop and a short walk from the Ravenswood Metra Station. Since they open at 6:30 AM on weekdays, Metra reverse commuters can pick up coffee and a pastry while still easily making the 6:46 AM Northbound train.

Im not so keen on the cash only policy, especially where there are such simple options these days like Square, but I love the atmosphere in this coffee shop. There are plenty of tables and a good selection of couches to sit at. Its not crammed like other coffee shops in the area and makes it a great place to work, catch up with friends, or just read a book.

Pretty much just have to agree with what everyone else is saying. It is a comfortable spot to relax with a solid cup of coffee. The staff has always been friendly. Ive never had an issue with their wi-fi. Ive never tried the food, but it always looks and smells good when others around me are eating. It is cash only, but that really isnt a big deal.

There are array of options for good coffee in Chicago but The Perfect Cup is a terrific place if you are not on the go and need a place to catch up on some work or reading. There are two rooms with sofas, tables and chairs along with art on the walls featuring various artists. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the Ravenswood neighborhood.

The Perfect Cup is one of the best study spots I have found. It is welcoming and the staff are very friendly. The coffee is not burnt and there is always free refills on the medium ice teas. Local are is displayed in the side seating area. It is a mixture of students, family, and social culture. They are a cash only coffee house.

Great little spot off the Damen-Brown Line. CASH ONLY but dont worry if you forget because theres an ATM across from the gas station just a half a block away. I really like their Cuban sandwich. A comfortable place to get work done, whether youre working privately or in a group, with lots of seating to choose from.

The description says that this place is cash only. This is an accurate as I was just in there and there was a sign next to the register that said they do accept all major credit cards. Aside from that they made it awesome with a tasty breakfast wrap. Also I highly recommend the Anns special (I think its called.)

Walked in. I didnt realize it was cash only until I was about to order. The barista/owner asked if I lived in the area, and I told her yes. She made me a latte and said I can pay next time I come in! Now that is the best service I have ever had! Also, the soy chai latte was fantastic!

Decent neighborhood spot, their coffee could be better. I usually get one of the teas instead, which are good. Its a pretty good place to study, but sometimes the music is too much. They are no longer cash only, but the last time I went they had a small charge to use a card.

A great neighborhood cafe. My first visit in a while but the baristas knew the person behind me, so a plus for regulars! In my opinion, the coffee itself was so-so but this is not billing itself as a craft coffee location and I can be snooty in the coffee dept.

The coffee is really tasty. The people, especially the owner, is super nice. You get a free cup of coffee if you buy a bag of their grounds. Even their decaf is great, and I usually cant stand decaf. Its right across from the brown line damen stop. Super close!

The staff and owners are awesome and have always been welcoming to me and everyone I see walk in. Coffee is top notch and so is the food (get the Cuban and a Italian soda raspberry flavor!). Love the Perfect Cup! Lastly, they take CC now, WOOHOO!!
