Ive eaten at this restaurant several times and the sides are great! The dressing, macaroni and greens especially. I havent tried their cooked to order meats like catfish or fried chicken but twice Ive had the smothered chicken and the 2nd time it wasnt cooked thuroughly; 1st time it was over cooked and dried out to where there wasnt any meat So, I wont be eating anymore chicken from there. The short ribs are descent; I think for $1 extra you should get a bigger portion than what they give because its a ton of fat.

Nice place for a drink & some appetizers. But the menu is limited, & vague on how late you can order food. The music is way too loud sometimes. Especially when you have 5 people in the place, & theyre all 50+ years old. They USED to have frosted mugs for beer, but not anymore. Thats what started me coming there.

Ordered food from uber eats and they delivered the wrong food when I called he said they were sending my correct order out to me now....well I never received it waited for 2 hours and they stopped answering the phone. I paid $29 for food I never received... terrible service here

The food is excellent! I will tell anyone to get the Soul Tower, you cant go wrong. The drinks are awesome as well. You definitely get more bang for your buck at The New Look. Its the best place on the far southeast side for food, drinks and music hands down.

I was in Chicago and was referred by a friend to The New Look Restaurant. The food was amazing and the price was good. I will recommend this place to my friends. I enjoyed the game on Big Screen Tv while I ate down south soul food. I will be back
