The chicken plate and hummus tasted OK. Only a few issues... I found that the food wasnt very warm, the chicken was sort of hard and some of the pita tasted like it was reheated from the day before. Drinks do not include refills. $4/ea. What?! Too pricey. On top of that the mango and limeade drinks were NOT natural. You have to pay for everything including extra sauces. Overall, for the price, the food was not worth me driving all the way from the loop to try this "4 1/2 star" restaurant. The best place for a quick bite of middle eastern food is Taste Of Lebanon on 1509 W. Foster Ave. Chicago, IL.

I really loved coming to this place. I have ben waiting for it to open and when it finally did, I had to go try it out. The the bread there is like no other. My mother lives in Arizona and she puts in a special order each week, thats how good it is. They have the best fresh spinach pies. Really good prices and the owner is a pretty cool guy. He wont serve you anything that isnt fresh. The also have this fresh squeezed orange juice that is to die for. I mean I have never experienced a place like this.

Iraqi bread prices jumped suddenly from $2 to $3 without a previous notice. I went there to buy my favorite Iraqi bread as usual. I ordered 3 bags and surprised me that the total was $9. The cashier provided no explanation for rising the price. I cancelled the order and went to the neighbouring bakery where the same bread and may be better is only for $2 a bag!

I ordered chicken shawirma today from Taza because according to my father he said this is the best... I took his word for it since he went on to explain that when he was eating the sandwich it reminded him of eating the sandwich in Lebanon. He was absolutely correct... the bread, chicken everything was fresh and to perfection!!!

I was there with my friends with no exaggeration about 30 times, many times took food to go, almost always the food was very good. The man on register is very kind and always smiling, I believe he is an owner. Like to order chicken soup, chicken pies and kebab sandwich...

If you want fresh baked meat goods, you cant go wrong here. There food is good, and most of it is fresh. The staff is really welcoming also. Just check your order in the bag before you leave if taking it to go, thier so busy sometimes they can switch thing by accident.

I like mediterrean taste. It was good for me the staff was pretty nice. Parking easy and free. I ordered something new to try. It was really spicy which was writing on the order menu. Looks like I have to eat that what always I eat :)

I only buy bread from there which is good and the price is reasonable, but other food is quite expensive but you get a good share of food the price. Just they need to improve hummus quality and use olive oil as dressing.
