My love-hate affair with ice cream started in 1974 when I began working at famous ice cream store on south Western Avenue. The owner taught me a lot about it. I then worked off and on in various shops -31 Flavors, etc. Ice cream can be tough and sticky to work with. I was excited to try your product. I purchased the Malt Vanilla. Either it wasnt packaged correctly or its just not good. First, it was crystalline and in my opinion -not at all creamy. Ice cream that is crystalline is a sign of old or stale ice cream too. Your ice cream was densely packaged. Ice cream is about 40- 50 percent air by volume. Cheap brands increase the air. Ironically, your ice cream seems to have no air pumped in to it. The product that I purchased contained a congealed wad of ingredients bonded by frozen water that didnt work well together. Ice cream should be rich and creamy yours was not. I even gave your ice cream the benefit of the doubt by trying a spoonful from the bottom of the container. Nothing but the same.

Three great sweet shops under one roof. Delicious truffles, caramel corn, hot chocolate, toffee and animal crackers from Rich give you too many options to choose from. The Windy City collection, based on Chicago neighborhoods, is a unique introduction to the tastes of the city. Ruth and Phils has the best gormet ice cream in Chicago, hands down. Everything else will taste like it came from a grocery store freezer after youve tried this ice cream. The Sugar Syndicate makes great little treats, perfect for little kids, and awesome decorated cakes for any type of event. Its a little bit out of the way, but definitely worth a trip to soothe your sweet tooth, and they are great for larger events. A cant miss!

Not the best texture and flavors. The peanut butter chocolate was weird. Same as the review below me. Not sure if its the way its packaged? Its not creamy at all - but freezerburned-ish taste. Its hard to disappoint me with icecream but somehow they managed to?
